Hi everyone
Yet another night of insomnia for me....it is soooooo annoying that I can't stay asleep!!!
Took my little Dylan (kitten) to the vet yesterday for his vaccinations part 2. He's growing really fast and is going to have to get his "crown jewels" removed in the next few weeks. I thought he was still a baby...oh my little boy!!!
Today isn't going to be special in any way for me - just another day at work really. Maybe empty the dishwasherd tonight...my life is riveting, isn't it?
Curry-Queen, hope you and beasties are all settled into your new abode. Let us know how the decorating is going. I'm really happy for you that you got your house.
That's it. Will try and get another hour or so's rest before the alarm goes.
Happy Wednesday everyone

morning snowy!
up since 4.15 with DD, she has an awful cold and cough and its kept her awake half the night, so...once the other 3 are up, breakfasted and packed off to school for the day i think we should go back to bed!
have a few odds and sods to do today, post ebay parcel, get car tax and go get some more chicken feed.
have the downstairs toilet to clean, and the hall cupboard to sort out on my list for today, but at a push it can wait until tomorrow!
DD has just demanded some weetabix so is sitting next to me eating that (at 5.45 in the morning lol)
she will probably want a second breakfast by the time the boys come down lol. bless her!!
anyway better get on for now xxNovember NSD's - 70 -
Morning All
Had a terrible night, with hardly any sleep at all.
Work isn't going terribly well this morning so far
Haven't eaten yet, but have porridge with me ready to make.
Hope everyone's feeling better than I amComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Morning Snowy and JD
Hope you DD feels better JD - I have three girl kitties Snowy luv them to bits know how you feel re them going for their OP's
getting ready for work now
B - Weetabix
L - HM Soup and some crusty bread
D - Thai Red curry (made last night and in Fridge) with rice
WM ready to go on - I was going to put this on as I go out the door but that would waken OH and his DS as they are still in bed - will see what mood I am in in the next 30 mins as I think some payback is in order as after being collected from work last night and shopping for a few things to ensure my meal planner was complete (£13 in Sainsburies) got home - OH sat on A**e reading paper and his DS jumped on computer - left me to put shopping away - after much banging about OH eventually sauntered in asking if there was anything to be done - He emptied DW (after being given map of kitchen to show where it all went !!) - I served dinner (lovely Pork Chops from the SC - the sauce I have frozen to use again) - after dinner I started to tidy up kitchen - again those two sat on their backsides. I started preparing dinner for tonight when OH came back to kitchen to ask if there was anything to be done - he got the job of the Cat's litter tray ha ha ha. He has been warned that I want the house - especially the kitchen kept tidy (usually when I come in from work and he has been by himself or the kids the house is a bombsite) - we will see at 530pm
have a good day all
Morning to all those who post later
Take care

Morning
A bad night here too
DD will be back at school today as she is much better and driving me & OH mad!! Its Roast dinner at school today, and its her fav.
Not enough washing yet to put a load on and DW is only half full so doesnt need putting on till later. Toilet has been cleaned though. Downstairs need sweeping through this morning (by OH) and also want to get the 3 glass shades in lounge down and clean them and wipe down my fake flowers in the toilet. Also want to re-arrange my ornaments in the loo and my glass kitchen display cabinet, as it dont look right ATM and im bored! I also have loads of stuff for ebay which I just havent managed to even start doing. Will try and get just 10 items loaded up today so that by tomorrow there should be at least 20 items to be put on-well I can try cant i
Whilst doing the ebay, I may stick Rebus on as I missed it the other night but recorded it, I might get more done this way
Its OH's folks anniversary today, but havent got together that much. A free bottle of wine, Folk Art wall long sign saying welcome (bought a box (5) of them from ebay for £5 inc postage, a posh boxed picture frame with happy anniversary on it(reduced from Boots in Jan 2005 £1.50), and am awaiting my Boots delivery which has a jar of ginger coated in choccy for MIL and some smellies for FIL. Total spent on all these items was about £6 and have recycled a posh gift bag to place it all in with ribbons/tissue paper etcDD made a HM card too as I have tons of card toppers etc.
Breakie:Ham & Coleslaw Roll
Lunch: Jacket Spud & Topping
Dinner:Pie, mash and veg
Anyways, I need to go take some pain killers before I totally seize up..lol.
Have a good day everyone

Thanks hun :A
We haven't actually moved in yet, as there was a lot of work to do in the house first, but the worst is out of the way now and I'm about ready to move in so just waiting for my ex to have a few spare hours to bring the lorry over and move the furniture. Saturday is looking to be the most likely day but if I can get my animals down there beforehand we can start sleeping there any time from today :j :j :j
The bulk of my kitchen stuff including BM, SC, microwave etc, is already down there so cooking is no problem, and most important of all is my broadband connection should be switched on today too :T:rotfl:
Sorry guys I haven't had chance to read much of OS this last week or so, so I hope everyone is doing ok *hugs*
Snowy, I'm so sorry to hear you lost your dear Tabitha too... I hope the new kitty's are settling in ok and you have many years of pleasure with them. I worry about how my two are going to cope with the move, although they're both quite used to it by now as we've moved several times since they were born and they just look at the boxes and think "Uh-oh mum's moving house again" LOL! It will be lovely for them to have a garden to play in again though and I can't wait for Spring to see them out there basking in the sun and chasing butterflys again
Right, best go make another :coffee: and have a quick browse before cracking on with the rest of the packing. Almost done now!
Have a lovely day everyone "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Woke up a few minutes before the alarm went off this morning in a panic, thinking that the alarm hadn't gone off and I was going to be late for work! It was the cat talking that woke me up!
Another boring day at work, I may just take some special k as I cant be bothered with preparing anything and may need to use my lunch to 'get ahead' as it were, I need to teach myself some stuff as I need to excel this month (its getting nearer to pay rise time and need the next 2/3 months to show im worth a decent chunk extra!)
Boyf went to the post office yesterday to return the stuff I told him to and as there was a queue he decided to abandon his trip and come back home box in hand. Men!
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Morning OS ers.Havnt posted for about two weeks so ive lots to catch up on.Happy New Year to everyone.Off to work in an hour and feeling realy tired, the school holidays have rearanged my sleeping pattern, late nights and very late mornings and our schools dont go back until next tuesday. With a bit of look i wont have to go shopping until febuary as im doing another store cupboard challenge and will only need fruit, veg and milk and things.I cant believe how much money ive saved these passed few months, ive never had money in my purse the day before pay day ever in my life and im so pleased with myself. On the other hand im so angry that ive been such a fool with money in the past that i could have had a nice healthy savings account by now, never mind ive learned my lesson now.Hpe you are all well and life is good. xxx0

Morning All
Had good nights sleep myself but purely coz I took some night nurse as have stinking cold. Normally I wake up at about 1am for a couple of hours.
Have got to go into work today (normally work from home) but need to take children as they are still off school until tomm.
Wont be o/s as will have to eat out so will treat ourselves to Kentucky I think. Before coming on here was having a couple of take-aways a week and one of my resolutions was to cut this back to 2 max a month and make them a real treat so today will be one of them.
Not much else will be done today bit I WILL finish my ironing tonight.
Hope you all have a good day.0 -
Dinner has been now changed to Lamb Stew in the SC as OH has requested it
Have added 500g diced lamb, red pepper, leek, beans, chick peas, new pots, carrots, swede and a mix packet. His folks arent well so he's taking over some stew to help them out-they eat heavily processed food and dont even think they know what a proper carrot tastes like..lol. There isnt much meat but they can fill up on the veg and spuds
