quick grab slots while you can tesco christmas home delivery select tesco customers?

I've only ever ordered twice with ASDA and both times it was a disaster. I had a 23rd of dec delivery slot last xmas and my order got mysteriously cancelled, not by me, and last week when the 80 year old if he was a day driver, turned up an hour late, took 20 minutes to unload the van and nothing was in bags.
i'm disabled and explained that i couldnt carry all the items backwards and forwards from the door to the kitchen and he just looked at me.........never again

I wouldn't trust my local Asda at any time, let alone Christmas. I am currently sitting here waiting for my delivery- supposed to be here between one and three! They never contacted me to say they were going to be late. Even at half past nine they are saying that our delivery is going to turn up tonight. The customer service I've received is absolutely appalling. I had thought it was going to be easier to order online rather than drag myself and my two children around the store. Never again! :mad:

Well after all the fuss I have got my slot for the 22nd. The girl I spoke to this afternoon was lovely, expressed her dismay that I wasn't coming up as a priority customer and that my loyalty was not rewarded and so she was kind enough to let me keep my order but changed it to a slot for the 21st and said I could ammend the slot tonight. So I can go to sleep knowing that the shopping will come on the 22nd!

Looks like 22nd all gone now. I have booked Sainsburys too, and did get one for 22nd after trying all day (system down)

at Sainsburys all 22nd and 23rd now gone but at Tesco 22nd still free all day... That will teach them for not opening up slots quickly enough everyone is using Sainsburys

Hi everyone.. i have booked a slot for asda on 23rd but says will only hold slot till 11.45 today how do you save your slot so you can add more nearer the time or cant you ? thanks in advance

You need to put at least £25 of stuff into your basket and checkout, then you can go back in and add to or change what you want to later, up until 10pm the night before your delivery, but always make sure you checkout again properly after every change to your order x
