quick grab slots while you can tesco christmas home delivery select tesco customers?

ach, mine got cancelled too I'll still be up at midnight tho so I'll re-book. We only have tesco and asda that do home delivery in my town and the asda webpage is frustratingly slow so i'll stick with tesco this year. here's hoping i can still get my slot

I wonder if they will all get cancelled? I booked mine this afternoon by tweaking the URL as in original post.. but I may just cancel it if they are going to cancel it. Tesco Customer Services is shockingly bad and I'd rather not have them ringing me!

Its likely that only the Sunday (20th Dec) before christmas will go up tonight. They always say it will go up on a certain date but they mean from and they add a day each night like they normally do.

Could be wrong and its all changed this year but that is normally what the case is.

but by rebooking our slots now and cancelling in a few days that frees up slots for other undervalued customers. I know that in the grand scheme of things Tesco won't miss my custom but this really was the final straw for me. Sainsbury's is just as good, if not better and Tesco's has just got too arrogant for words. I know I'm biased but I think that if they really feel they have to have priority booking then it should be targeted at those who need the physical help i.e. elderly, disabled, parents with very young children etc. That would be a community focused service.

i got mine cancelled yesterday and was told they would be available from midnight tonight but i have just been into have a look by changing url thing and all the slots for the 23rd dec are crossed out!! hope they have just done that to stop people booking early, I dont fancy dragging 4 kids around the shops to get my groceries that close to Christmas.

Have tweaked the URL and reserved a slot for 23rd, will do this again at 3 mins past 10 (the slots are reserved for 2 hours) so I have the place held for when they become available at midnight!!!!!!

Drastic measures but we only have a tescos in our village so no choice of supermarkets that deliver!!!!!!

I could be wrong and they have changed it for this year but I think you will find only 20th December goes up tonight.

Tesco always say the christmas slots will go up on a particular night but they never do, what they mean is they will start going up day by day.
