So did I and mine's just been cancelled - and before anyone decides to comment along the lines of "well what do you expect, you tried to outdo the system" - yes I know, but don't need it reiterating thanks!

No company should ever be so complacent as to treat their regular customers in this way, so Tesco can go swivel, Sainsburys are having my custom this year and from now on

They cancelled my slot so I immediately went on and booked another and I'll continue to do this. But I've just booked a delivery on 23rd with Waitrose for my parents to bring with them so I'm sorted now.

I know what you mean Loopy, but I really can't be bothered.

I've spoken to Sainsburys this afternoon and they've told me their slots become available one day at a time (so effectively the good dates will start to become available midnight tomorrow). I told him about the Tesco fiasco and he couldn't believe how unfair they'd been - 'spose he would be a bit biased!

Anyway, I shall be staying up to book my Sainsburys slot tomorrow, NOT Tesco :rotfl:

Just had my complimentary Christmas phone call from Tesco cancelling my order!!!!!:rotfl:

Was informed by the very nice customer service rep that slots would be available to book from tomorrow........assurred me that I would not have a problem getting the 23rd!!!!!!
Apparently to be a prority customer you have to spend somewhere over £100 per week on groceries (he told me £100 was my average spend and was not enough to qualify) as I pointed out to him we also buy all our petrol and various insurances from tesco but...........these don't count allegedly!!!!

Aghhh well it was worth a shot!!!!:T

Do you know what, I feel the same, but I'm slowly getting my head around the Sainsburys site, and once I've used it a few times I'm sure I'll find it just as easy as Tesco!

Sainsbury's site has also got Christmas broken down into individual sections, including Christmas Breakfast - works for me! :T

Seems like that will hurt other shoppers more than Tesco, as people who want slots won't be able to get them because they've been scooped up by those who have no intention of really ordering.
