Slowleyfading - thanks for the support - I have to write it down and be organised because being disorganised is what got me in this mess!
Well 2 days in and still no NSD but i stocked up the first aid box with cold n flu stuff for the winter (I also nabbed a multivitiamin bargin, 60 tablets for £1.20, their best before is the end of october so hopefully that will help keep me well between now and then, its Sept & Oct when I get colds so we shall see, i've always wondered whether its worth buying multi vits or not....
and today I bought some slippers for my xmas hampers - 3 for £3 so worth the expense but it means I only have 5 days this month I can spend money i've got 2 birthdays and 1 night out planned so I have to be strict with myself!

Blimey september landed with a vengance last night! I felt sooo Snug curled up on the sofa watching Harry Potter.
I've just worked out my current electricity balance and will add it to my monitor. At the moment, if I have worked it out right, with my credit (£56.31) I owe £22.94 for this quarter (inc VAT) So I want to try and keep that as low as possible my bill is due on the 16th September last year's september bill was £148.08 so at the moment i'm well on track for beating it (£79.25)
Not going to be a NSD again today as I am going to Tesco's to get some nibbles for tomorrow, but i'm on a strict budget, I was also going to look at their clothes she what coats they have, I have a £7.50 online voucher - does anyone know if can you double online vouchers for the clothes deal?

Well done on the blitz! I attempted last night but got distracted when I found a pair of shoes that I'd brought and never worn, so had to try them on with various outfits... and then it was time to go out! I did have my first NSD yesterday as well though so well done us!!

I like the idea of using the windup lantern instead of a mains lamp in the house. Have done it in the absence of a lamp in the past but not really considered it as a long term fixture to replace a lamp. Keep us updated as to how that works out. I have cut my finger winding the things up before now, so may have to factor in the costs of plasters!
You have got me thinking about the ways I can reduce the running costs of things where an alternative like this exists. Not come up with much yet but I am thinking lol.Debt £5600 all 0%0 -
*LOL* Ok Justruth will do - might just invest in some gloves
ElizabethHJ - I know exactly what you mean i'm terrible at getting distracted especially if its a job i know needs doing but I don't want to do it!
Had a really quite weekend so managed to acheive 2 more NSD only 20 to go, today should be one as I have lunch with me and dinner defrosting! Friday was good, it was nice to see everyone i ended up doing some oven chips and dips which was cheap cheeful and went down a treat!
I've been reading the "up your income" board and Argos are starting to hire xmas staff - i may consider it as they want 7 hour staff split over saturday and Sunday so only 3.5 hours a day but even at minimum wage it all helps

Wednesday Wednesday Wednesday the hump of the week neither is today towards the end of the week or the begining its that horrible middle day where you feel like "i've so much to do and its almost the weekend" and at the same time "i've got so much to do and the weekend feels like sooo far away!"
,
Today has not be a NSD which is annoying got collared into lunch with my boss and a colleague, So I only have 2 more hiccups allowed otherwise I wont meet my budget. I've done some more Dooyoo reviews meaning i'm half way towards a £50 payment i'm going to put that towards my 1 debt Vs 100 days challenge I think - i've got to do at least 50 reviews between now and then end of november before the start expiring so I need to get focused, theres 11 weeks between then an now so I'm going to aim to do at least 4 reviews a week
