    Well said.
    How about having a treat planned at the end of the challenge. And regularly too to keep you going. When we had debts I saved £2 coins for an occasional cheap meal out which is our favourite thing but it could be anything you like.

    Thanks Verbatim, i just feel guilty if I spend money I could be paying off a debt with - its a real catch 22 when you get in the MSE frame of mind isn't it! i've got a sealed pot and i'm putting £2 coins in at the moment too trying to put some money away for a holiday but because money has been soo tight I think I only have £6 in there! :o

    • Dig out stuff for ebay while its free listing - did my first one today - v. exciting!

    • Start reading up on the preparing for winter boards

    • put pad by the phone and start logging the calls i'm making - i'm sure i am making more evening calls that they reckon!

    Well today was another NSD :j bringing me up to 9 so i'm still well on trck for my target this month...
    • Just done my shopping with tesco, decided as the budget is sooo tight I will shop on line (i had a voucher for delivery) to avoid buying things that are not necessary this week! it came to £9.51 inc delivery so 49p under budget :D
    • I've paid another £51 off my debt balance :D
    • 1 phone call made after 6pm :D
    • £3.19 credit on the mobile, still have free text
    • Put all my change in a jar, not a sealed pot in case i need it so i have £4 emergency fund .
    • Done me scratchcards £22.65 and £4.75 in the bonus :mad:
    • Meant to check meter and forgot :o

    OK - well i've wangled a free dinner by popping over to see my friend tonight thats just got back from holiday :D and another packed lunch so another NSD for me :D
