It's still coming down, even when you only pay a small amount. So long as it all moves in the right direction it's all good!

Sorry you're having trouble finding a permanent job. Are you still waitressing? Sounds like you got huge tips there so you must be good at it.

I hope you find your dream job soon but you're doing so well paying off so much despite all the difficulties you've had to overcome.

    Good luck.

i'm fast approaching a year since i started paying off my debts and i have to say i have mixed feelings at the moment, i'm chuffed with how much i have managed to pay off with a little determination and support from you guys but also a little daunted but the fact I know i have another 5 years until my defaults are removed and i have an unblemished credit report again. i think i've become a bit slack with the debt busting, i know i'm not waitressing anymore but i need to re-assess my expenditure. so i'm going back to my weekly action list to keep me on track:

    this week i need to:
    • Call the inland revenue to find out about my tax refund :-)done - they have now decided they are misisng a piece of info
    • Cancel my electricity Direct Debit - they want £66 off me a month!
    • Do a timed walk to my new job as when that starts i'll save £80 at least in petrol done - 20 minutes (there and back)
    • Decide on a NSD challenge done 15 days this month
    • Ring paragon and complain about the charges £40 for 2 phone calls chasing an amount i've paid! done - gotta call them tonight with dates on the letter for calls
    • Ring Job centre about giving back the over payment they made me and refused to take back until i've received an official letter
    • Cash Cheque recieved from BT
    • Chase HR for a start date done 1 week! WOOHOO
    • Plan meals for the week

I'm ringing the inland revenue today as I sent my P60 to them last week and I should be able to arrange my refund :j

The council has sent me a new bill for my council
