Ok i will bite the bullet and add Mr.B's stuff to the challenge, so put me down for 20k oh gawd......but when i look back how far we have come it does seem very doable. Onwards.....................Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Wow, loads of challengers. Let's try and make this the biggest bestestest challenge ever, where every single person gives it 100%. (Speaking for myself there, as I have a habit of giving up half-way through, especially with these things that go on for ages). Good luck everyone!0

Can I join please!!
I'd like to aim for £8K pleaseThat would clear my debt plus make me continue that bit longer to have some  shock horror  savings!!
Also this is going to include the fact that it's my OH's birthday in June and I want to take him to Dublin for the weekend, he can pay his own spending but I'll pay flights and hotel.... I think it'll probably work out about £150 for both of us... but other then that I'm 100% here!!
PS I can only afford to get him this present if I get my CC's all paid off :T
(about £3600) I'm thinking of it as an incentive and not something that I will definitely get.... is that reasonable?Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
PPS Do we start 01.01.09?
And also do we count the amount we pay towards are debts? Or the amount that we pay off minus interest?Debt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
The challenge starts on 1st December!
I count mine as capital only - but others may count it as capital plus interest - whatever you need to do to keep you motivated!
I will add you in when I get home.....supposed to be working nowSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
