After making a huge dent in my goal I had to pay out £500 on vets bills so feel a bit put out. I don't have my dog insured but then he is 10years old now so I would have paid out much more than that over the years as he has never needed the vets before. Oh well, the things we do for our pets! :D

ah novagirl, there is always something crops up isn't there! But as you say, it has been cheaper over the years.

  • Free Daily Scratchcards have netted me a whopping £16.10 - straight off the Egg card ! Also, came £5 under budget for 1st grocery shop of 2009 + an extra £100 left over from Xmas off Natwest.

I keep reading about free scratchcards - where can I find them please and how do they work? - sorry if I should have asked in another thread, but haven't been able to find anything - just a link would be great - any help towards my 20K target would be great!
    thanks

Just looked at my bank statement for what is coming out on Monday and see that £48 has gone to a credit card, will update my spreadsheet!

On another positve note, its my birthday today and me and my boyfriend are going for dinner, then doing a mystery shop in a bar to pay for it! I think its great, my OH thinks I have lost the plot...

  • Right,

I am starting again. As in I am only counting payments made in 2009.

(Egg have messed up my loan some how, even tho my money has gone my loan has only gone down by two hundred pounds which has left me SO confused.)

so this year ingoring my payments from last year I have paid off 448 loan and 87 pounds on the CC.

which means I have paid off 535. (even if Egg say different stupid on line banking)

    xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Think I'm just about done for this month.

Car needs a full service - booked it in for next Sat and was told it would be £245- and that's if it doesn't need any work- which it will.

And friend wants to book her hen weekend - that's another £150.

    Oh well!
