    Right felt I should update

already paid £40 loan at start of this month as consolidated my od which turns out best thing I done love not having an overdraft but have big overdraft on another account which si my mission to clear asap.
Paid £30 to mr barclaycard who have been great latly and their advert makes me happy for some reason going to pay another £30 to them next week and keep making more than minimum phone bill.
I also have next months £40 loan payment to save up for and huge phone bill of £70 so will continue ebaying like mad!
So this month plan is pay another £130 pounds making december total £200 all from ebay money!
I knew december be tough as got presents to pay for and additional food but we done following things
    shopped around
plan to make some presents by baking cookies and sewing
    stockpiling on reduced
    making meals from scratch
    baking.

As for presnt budget probbably have brought my daughter too much as shes only child however i started in july and much of its 2nd hand bargains from ebay and carboots so not feeling too guilty I think sometimes when you spread out cost you lose track of how much you spent until xmas day when you look under tree and think I gone mad shes got lots! With birthday in febuary too.
I guess at least I got sales for birthdays but wont get her huge amounts.
Next year im going to save up food stamps every month and save with postoffice as they sell vouchers and save up all advantage points/nectar points and survey points for xmas as will make things so much easier and less stressful.
Thinking of starting sealed pot too or maybe 2 one for extra debts payments and one for treats.

On a bad note oh told no bounsu scheme next year as economy bad which hes down about as he could have potentially earnt few thousand to pay off debts.
We going to cut back where we can.
Im surprised just how ebaying how much im making and will do more carboots next year.
Still got bike to sell which will pay off big chunk
if we can keep to tight budgets on grocery next year we can use savings for debt.
Will look into bank charges too as getting fed up of how much they taking

2009 going to be good but tough im detemined to pay off as much of as posible although my target seems huge to me.
my target is joint debts added together. will tackle cc and overdraft first the hubbys 2 credit cards then oh od then loans.

    new grocery challenge £200/£250 feb

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON:D,Onwards and upward2013:)
  • I'd like to join too, with a starting date of 1st December because I have just paid quite a few thousand on the Virgin card as the 0% is up at the beginning of February.

I have around £10,000 of debts remaining so that would be a good target for the year. As my signature states I want to be totally debt free by the end of 2009 and I am well on target.

My total target will be £15,000 to include the payments made this month already.
I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 2010

Fantastic - you will be debt free before you know it!

juicygirl - any overpayment, however small, is still an overpayment! Go you!!

Well, before this challenge I wouldn't have bothered so GO YOU too:T !
  • Our only debt is our mortgage which is just over £66,000. Ideally we want to have paid it off in the next three years. So please put us down for £20K, hopefully we could manage a bit more, but we shall see how it goes! As interest rates have gone down, it is great for the mortgage we can pay off the extra we would have previously paid as an overpayment. Starting 1st Jan!
