Made an overpayment of £143.77 to my biggest CC :T
Without this challenge I wouldn't have done this so I'm happy
Think I'm probably done with payments for December but that's me over £1000 so I'm very pleased with how it's all going so far.
Will continue to move the pennies balance daily from my current account to CC with the same bank for the rest of the month though.
Well done everyone so far x
P.S. Payments not shown in debt totals until they clear.0 -

Please, please, please can I have a number and be added to the list (I have posted twice but the thread is moving very fast and they probably haven't been spotted).
I'm ready and raring to go after Xmas.
Thanks
You haven't been forgotten but I am doing the numbers when I have my spreadsheet running too, which needs me to be in the right place, at the right time, and with my brain working a little.......!
I will get numbers updated over the weekend - promise!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi,
Made another overpayment yesterday of £64.40 taken from cash received from Quidco over the past couple of months.0 -
Everyone has been added to the challenge.
Skint-student-nurse, please can you let me know what level you are aiming for, as you didn't mention any figures in your post.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Bit of a blow (but could be a good thing in the long run!) It looks like my new mortgage is going to go through - which means I will have to find about £600 in costs before the 19th Dec - which I hadn't budgeted for! so I was being a bit entheusiastic paying off all of my A & L credit card this month - I have around £500 left in my bank account - but this was for food and fuel and any extra bits and pieces - and there seems to be lots of these this month! So it looks like I will have to use my credit card a bit! In the long run it will be better but it feels like 2 forward 1 back at the moment! I just need to try to keep my spending low!
Good luck to everyone else - this looks like it will be a great challenge!0 -

£60 off of my Next debt today. Starting off slowly, but will do more in the New Year ~ have quite a good amount to come back from Quidco, including the Orange £150, so will use all of that to make a bigger dent. :j

I've finally caught up with this thread after my hols. Everyone is doing really well and I am convinced that i should be able to achieve way more than my target of £5000 although when i'm adding it up it seems like even hitting that will be a struggle!!!
nevermind, i'm still on statutory maternity pay until the new year and am only counting my own debt rather than joint stuff so i will probably be repaying more than i'm actually including in this thread. I just need to come up with some ways of getting some extra cash in, i haven't really got much left to sell on ebay although i think i'm going to have to be ruthless and if i haven't used it then it gets sold.
the matched betting thing sounds so confusing but i think i might have to have a few more attempts at reading it to see if i can actually get my head around it. Loads of people have also mentioned scratchcards, is this just really obvious or is there somewhere on the site that will give me some more information?
Thanks
oh i've just paid £25 off my credit card, i'll see if i have anything left at the end of the month to pay off some more!Debts all paid!!!:j0 -
Just managed to pay £13.00 off my credit card, however I just had a letter from the bank who gave me an unplanned overdraft facility for a debit payment. I mistakenly used the wrong debit card for a small payment of £5.47, they are charging me £15.00 plus £6.00 fee for the privilege!Mortgage £25,789.17/£24,918.14/£22,921.47
Pay off £20k by Xmas 2010 - £16,360.000
