Current debts total as of July 2014 £4,3000 -
Hi all, have just totalled my figures for the end of year - I don't expect to spend any more until 1st January and this year I've saved £7,000 exactly (just transferred £33.27 to get that figure)!
On top of this I've also managed to go to four weddings this year (costing £200 each) £600 was spent on a holiday for my parents and £650 on dental work oh, and travel costs for work of £300 this year was a new bill. All of this was paid for out of additional money from scratchcards, cashback, b!ng0, eb@y, play.com, music magpie, amazon etc.
Not sure what 2010 will bring as I lost my job in October. I've been working part time hours in three jobs to make up full-time hours, but one of those jobs ended before Christmas, so money will be much tighter in 2010, but hey... I've got savings as a buffer now so I'm sure all will be well.0 -

Haven't been great at updating this recently but have sat down and worked it out tonight. My total for the year is:-£31,358.48:j
'm really disappointed that I haven't hit the £35K I was aiming for but I do have £2.6K put aside in a savings account, my £188 in £2 coins and I have also been putting aside £50 per month for fuel which I haven't used the last 3 months so £150 there and finally £450 which I put aside to pay for my holiday which I paid for out of my current account instead! I haven't bothered clearing this off the card as I have switched it to a 0% card until June 2011 so it will definitely be paid off next year interest free!:j If I added the savings in then I guess I could say I'd done £34746.48 so just a bit off.
This has been fantastic, really motivational and I'm looking forward to clearing more of my mortgage next year. Well done everyone and happy new year:beer:

have looked at my debt payments since LBM on 29th April this year and have managed to pay off just under £7000 with little effort and with saving and paying towards our wedding....so this year will hopefully be a good one for us and our debts!
