My June update all minimum payments have been paid now and taking into account the balance transfer fee I have had to pay this month I have paid off the grand sum of £295.29:rolleyes:.

I can't see me paying anything except minimum payments again next month due to a severe cash crisis until pay day on 31st July:eek:

I know it's half way through the year, but please may I join in too?

My target is £23,000 by the end of the year. Thanks to a redundancy payout - is that cheating? - I'm at £19,678.59, but I'm terrible at staying focused on the target, so I need you lot to keep an eye on me! :)

Thanks, DT - I was exceptionally lucky. I had already applied for a job and fully intended to leave once the conditional offer became firm. My previous employer issued an email asking for volunteers for redundancy, and within seconds of reading that, I got the phone call to say that the job offer was firm. I had two weeks off after finishing my old job, then started the new one towards the end of April.

Nice one Terakris. Enjoy! I need afew perks like that from work at the moment. Still, can't moan as last night had an amazing time at one of my super rich friend's 40th birthdays - they hired private rooms in a london hotel (V nice one), had a film screening and then gave a dinner for 33 friends. Amazing food, astonishing wine, and all a gift from him. Ah, how the other half lives!
