Hello everyone,
Hope you've not munched all your easter eggs yet!
I've just raided my savings and paid off my Cahoot loan - there was just over £1,000 left to pay so that not coming out of my account each month will pretty much off-set my pay cut which is handy.
So - I'm down to my last card - American Express. £2328.11 left on that, which must also be the amount left until I complete this challenge. Excellent.

Well done everyone, you're keeping the pace up! Slow month as we were easter DIYing and the money I saved went on that instead (but how great did it feel paying for everything up front with mney we'd saved, and not having to scrimp around for cash cos we'd skinted ourselves!). More being saved as we speak; challenge has become a lot more doable since DH got on board nad diverted some of his gig money straight into a savings account I use to hoard overpayments money for the month.
The new challenge is to pay off the Cap 1 card before the 0% runs out at the end of Aug, and DH has just told me he'll have an extra 900 coming in in June, so it suddenly seems quite doable... starting to see a very small light at the end of the tunnel now!0 -
Well done folks!:T
Even in these tougher times we are fighting back. It has to be done. The consumer has been at the receiving end for far too long. Have you ever heard of Montezuma's revenge? This website is Consumer's Revenge!!!!!:T:T:T
I have managed another £250 today off my debt and updated my sig.
I have cut right back on grocery shopping and we don't go out so all our money is being diverted to the debt!
It MUST be done.
Have a great Friday everyone xxx2013 TARGET £30k
