Sorry the birthday was rubbish - I would just relocate it and have it on a sunny day off if I were you. I hope work improves. Good about your new stuff and FB friends though. I love FB, I've got in touch with all sorts of people I used to know (especially the ones with unusual names who are easy to track down :D).
Let us know when you are going to have that relocated birthday and we'll join you.

Well if I move to the southern hemisphere I will have an autumn birthday, the weather doesn't really bother me, although a steaming July day would be nice.
The month of March has been a washout at work and is written off so am looking forward to starting a fresh in April, I've been told by my boss that I should be grateful that I have the job that I do, he meant it it in a good way but my blood was boiling yesterday and several colleagues have been removed from the Christmas card list for this year. It will take me all week to chill out now, I understand why these loonies go to the mall and start shooting random people- they must work with some people I know. I don't know why, I don't like Mondays.........

    Hi Jim
Hope you're feeling better today. Have just been checking out the single & lonely thread you mentioned. You blokes are very easily discouraged I must say! There are women who like Top Gear and all that Dave stuff - I am one! My husband was the envy of his office (no, really!) when he told them we play Unreal on the home network :o though must say that guilty pleasure has pretty much come to an end since second child. Jim, are you in Brighton or have I just made 2 and 2 make 48?
Must go and see if there is any chocolate in the cupboard which I will definitely share with husband as my hips don't need the extra burden!

Ha Ha- I love your post ! Glad you enjoyed single & lonely thread , I came across it and thought it was a bit depressing so I thought I'd be cheeky and try and cheer it up a bit with some my dark humour. However, you have confirmed my greatest fear- you like online gaming, top gear, probably have great taste in music.......drumroll....... married already. This was the point of the thread all the good ones are gone so what's left on the scrap heap ( a heap I include myself on- I am not above my own wit as anyone who has been reading this so far will have realised) Your maths is spot on for the location and talking of maths -20 years ago last Monday I went to see the naked gun at the cinema, I remember what I was wearing, who I went with, why do I remember useless !!!!!! like this but I've forgotten how to do long division which surely will have a greater bearing on my life. !!!!!! brain. Have a nice day everyone.

Now I am worried because I can't remember what I was doing 20 years ago last Monday - must be my age. :D
There isn't a scrap heap - just a load of great people wandering round looking for the perfect match - if half of them would only stand still for a bit the other half might catch up with them...
The only good thing to be said about your work seems to be, as you've said already, that the last few weeks are already history. I seem to remember you got extra work elsewhere a while back - any chance of a transfer?

P.S. I never could do long division anyway, didn't stop me getting happily married. :)
