Regarding the olbas oil Jill, many years ago I was in a sauna and a friend put some drops into the water barrel when we left . Sitting in the jacuzzi a while later 5 forwards from the Tongan rugby team (the word cup was on at the time in Rugby) went into the sauna, they were staying in this particular Hilton hotel during the tournament, one of the group obviously ladled all the water onto the coals and within seconds they came running out rubbing their eyes. We had to pretend to not notice as our laughter would have given us away and would have probably resulted in a bit of a kicking.- By the way Mark Morrison (return of the mack )also fell victim to this prank not quite the hard man he wanted us to think he was!

Hope you're feeling better soon Jim - and Jill! - I'll second the recommendation for Olbas oil tissues, they're brilliant. Not sure I'd trust Jim with them though!

  • Hi Jim!

I have just read the entire thread! You have had some journey! Glad to see that you are much happier!

I am starting on a DMP with Payplan and my first payment is going out on 1st April.

It's amazing just how many people are in the same situation and how many stories I can relate to.

Will be subscribing to this thread for updates!

    Take care!

Hi and welcome Peach ! Thanks for your support its greatly appreciated. I am so pleased to hear that you are about to start with payplan, I think you can see the effect it has had on my well-being. I hope that you too will soon get to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I still have many challenges to overcome but I am doing it in bite size chunks and setting myself goals as I go. Please keep me posted with your progress and feel free to ask me anything .

I advised a good friend that I have managed to get her a Michael Jackson ticket and she is so thrilled she is going to comp me a hotel room near the o2 as she works in the hotel industry- result. When word got around the office on Friday that I had a spare ticket I was inundated with offers for tea/coffee, Indian head massage etc. I've never been so popular.
  • Hi Jim,

just read your comment about having leftover curry for breakfast - made me laugh! I always order more than I can eat, and plan to have the rest for lunch the following day, but seem to end up eating it for breakfast! Don't think its scummy at all - if anything it tastes even better!
