Happy days! Have just been in the garage checking my home made supply of bio diesel which had solidified in the cold weather starting last October which has meant me having to buy diesel at the pumps for the last 6 months, is now a lovely runny golden brown liquid and ready to go into the tank on the car. I have over 60 litres all filtered and ready to go and it means I wont have to spend a penny on fuel now until October when it gets cold again. Lovin' the hot weather.

    Ditto Avatar.

    *ducks*

I know, most of the world has already seen it.

Good to see you perky again Jim. I'm sure it has nothing to do with scantily clad women soaking up the sun on the beach :p.

I went to see Avatar just after I was diagnosed and had had my first Hypo, I remember sitting in the cinema feeling really unwell, a combination of drugs and unbalanced blood sugar. I got as far as the attack on the big tree and had to leave- got to the toilet just in time ! But didn't bother going back in to see the rest as I just wanted to go home.
Have just seen the last ever Lost and am well impressed, loved the show from day one and am glad that it over and has finished, really good ending- just missing Bruce Willis and a nerdy little kid banging on about seeing dead people. Have the last 2 hours of 24 to see next then my television life is over as there is nothing left for me to see now. (except for the brilliant breaking bad, which no one has seen) I need recommendations people !

Yes K2tog, Brighton is absolutely full of .......

I saw the first episode of flashforward and here its been cancelled, maybe I should give it another go.
Thought lost was brilliant and loved the last episode, and have now finished 24 (although I suspect it will be back for more).
Have just seen Stephen Hawkins discovery show, no where near as good as Brian Cox's solar system- I suspect it's been made for thick Americans.
I think I saw the first season of Heroes but then lost interest, maybe it was on later and I missed it.

Definitely watch Flashforward! I'm quite upset it's been cancelled after just one season though. :( I've borrowed Heroes season 1, but not got around to watching it yet.

I have also previously watched and enjoyed:

Dexter (have seen seasons 1 & 2 so far and I'm too poor to afford Sky, so dunno when I'll get to see 3)
The Vampire Diaries (only on episode 5, so it still has time to go terribly wrong... I must admit to mainly watching it because of the fit vampire brother of the main vampire! :o There are some nice looking females to even it up! :D)
Flight of the Conchords (two New Zealand musicians trying to make it in New York, with comedy songs - the song about David Bowie is fabulous)

Also recording Warehouse 13 and Trauma (both currently being shown on Virgin 1 I believe, but not had time to watch yet!)
