my AWT beville breadmaker recipie book has vanished. (suspect toddler daughter of including it in re-cycling pile) Ive looked on thier web site but they only seem to have pdf for instruction manual not recipies. Have e-mailed their customer services but not had reply. Does anyone know where I could find one?
    Thanks

If you're willing to spend that amount of money on a breadmaker I'd seriously advise you to go for the Panasonic one! The SD-252, I think it is, without the nut dispenser is only a few pounds more than that and the difference in quality and taste if bread is astounding! My previous model was a Breville, which does make very good bread, but my Panasonic beats it hands down ;)

I got the Panasonic SD-253 and got rid of the other one without even trying it out!! lol :D I made my first 100% wholemeal loaf last week and it was hmm hmmmm, tasty! I froze all but 1 slice because I have a sick stomach. Going to make hubbys white bread on Wednesday.

Must say that I have to shake my Panasonic fairly violently to get the bread out of the pan! Surely that burns a few extra calories off though!!!!

I never grind seeds though - I use Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Linseeds, and Poppy Seeds. Also I put far more in than they suggest and have no probs so far!

You have to shake the whole breadmaker to get the bread out? Doesn't the breadpan lift out?

Woo hoo I done it, I made hubbys bread last night and it was edible!! :j I was wondering whether the bread would turn out right or not when the bread was cooking because it made an awful lot more noise than it did when I made my wholemeal bread. Did anyone else notice their breadmaker making more noise when it made white bread rather than wholemeal?

To be honest I don't bother looking. I shut the door and leave it be until I hear the beeps that tells me its finished.
