I've recieved my paper application aswell, and no second email. However, this is good in my case as i don't have a linked account.0

Please give this thread some clarity. Are those who received paper application fixed term accounts ( Not monthly interest ). I would imagine most or at any rate, a lot, of fixed rate accs will not have a linked account ( unless monthly interest option ).0

Just phoned them again to check and apparently there is no choice. If you want to stay on til the end of your fixed term, your payment options are cheque, cheque, cheque or cheque.
Just to add to the confusion, I was told yesterday by a chap at the FSCS head office (who seemed pretty clued up about most other things) that the payment on maturity would be via the linked bank account!0 -

It says very clearly in the message on the front page of Icesave that you will receive payment by cheque. This is dated 4th November.
"Any customers (including customers with fixed-rate savings accounts who wish to be paid out at the end of the term of their deposits) who do not wish to use the electronic process described above can opt instead to complete a paper application form (which we aim to process so far as possible within 6 weeks of receipt of a completed application form) and receive their compensation from the FSCS by cheque. That's true, but it's always been a bit weird that the Icesave website is the only place where payment via cheque is specified as being the only option. None of the information on the FSCS site has ever specified 'cheque', so there's still some room for ambiguity.0

Both my wife & I have icesave ISAs. We both received the first emails early on and have been waiting for the second. I thought we had linked accounts but I may be wrong.
Today I received a paper application form, but not my wife. The form has a second column for "Claimant 2(if applicable)" and space for three accounts, could/should I include my wifes details and her account on the same form as mine??
I guess this is really intended for joint accounts so the answer should be no. But having waited this long I don't want to send mine off and my wifes never materialises! On the other hand if I did put us both on the same form maybe we would get our money but only one ISA certificate! Arghh!0
