Yes the statement does appear under the charges whatever you NGN range you drop down be it 0845 0870 or 0844 etc .But against each numbering range their are 2 sections of charging.On the left cost per minute,on the right connection charge.

Against 0844/0845/0870/ their is a cost per minute charge but no connection charge.

On say 09114000 their is a connection charge but no cost per minute .
And on say their 091120 is a charge for both.

OK, got it now. But the point is that it's not easy for people to fathom. However, it is easy to get caught out by it.

Also, I cannot see that 091120 is different from 0844. I think you mean 0901120?

We still don't know how much the elusive connection charge actually is, do we?

The prefix number for Discountdial doesn't seem to let you continuous dial.You have to wait for the message which is pretty hopeless if you dial from phone memory. I've tried it a few times and it bombs out. Always works ok with 18866. Am i doing something wrong? I'm with Just Dial Max for my CPS and they charge 4p to connect to Discount dial.

JDS dont charge 4p to connect to a 1p 0844 number.However they do charge a min call charge if you dont get through,hit voicemail,make short call.This is probaly what the 4p,s are.

I notice you are on JD Max £8.99p a month. This is is equivalent to approx 299 01/02 calls a month on 1899 at 3p call.Do you actually make that numbers of calls a month,bearing in mind also you can get free evening and weekend calls at no charge from primus saver.

Is anyone else having problems calling 07744 numbers through this number? I tried calling yesterday and got a message saying that the number of digits entered was incorrect!

The number has changed:
The new number is: 0844 462 1919
Calls to mobiles are now charged at 2p per min.
Also the 077** numbers have stopped working.

Hope you made the most of it! because I did calling Pakistan for 2 hours which only cost me £1.20.....

I have just tried the new number and a recorded messsage says it is not ppossible to use this service. Is there another cheap prefix number I could use for cheap calls please?

The correct new number is 0844 462 23 23(Now 2p a minute) and works fine. (But it doesnt allow calls to 07744 only normal UK Mobile numbers).
