OS Daily Monday 24th Nov 2008

Hi all

Well DS didn't wet the bed last night so no bedding to wash today:j

Today we had Roast Beef cooked in the SC it was lovely. Need to clean the oven tomorrow. I have used branded cleaners before but I am always sure you can taste the chemicals on the food afterwards even though I washed them all away. I remember reading somewhere about using bicarbonate of soda in a paste so will try this.

Might even bake some goodies tomorrow will see how my energy levels are after cleaning the oven.

How very saddened that I read those sorts of posts on this thread again. I have just read PP's post and nowhere does it say she has received *bullying* posts on this thread. So you are way out of line tarring all the lovely people who post on it with the *bully* tag. :mad:

I have often read PP claiming bullying PM's & bullying posts but she has never sent them on to abuse or I've seen any evidence in any threads of this thing going on to her. Instead of circulating these rumours which only causes discord in the daily should could have sent us a link for us to judge ourselves.

Hope you all have a good sleep. I'm off to shop & go to the library with DGS. It's 7am and it's already hot as hell. Hats & sunscreen order of the day. Byeeeeeeeeeeeee

Anyway,love the banter here, OS gets me through some longdays at work and long evenings cos OH is offshore. Really miss him just now hate cooking for myself but at least it's cheap!lol

Evening and a big welcome to all the lovely new and old faces

been a bit MIA just lately - dgs is 4 today so we had a bit of a weekend birthday extravaganza. Took him and a friend to the aquarium to look at sharks for 3 hours on saturday - yes I know there are other things there but he just wanted to see the sharks.

He is with me tonight as dd(19) is back at the hospital tomorrow to see if she is still pregnant poor thing. dd(23) also in the wars a bit. There was an anouncement at w*rk about redundancies and new contracts but she is still yet to hear if she is affected or not.

OS wise I did have a cleaning frenzy at dd's on saturday night - big mistake as dgs's party was the next day so it's pretty much been undone. Got a massive turkey crown yellow stickered to 1.29 - yay - so have put that away for new year.

Had a good day and managed to make a lovely stew for tea. Kids really enjoyed it and I used up lots of veggies and some beef that had been avoiding me in the freezer. Sticking to the meal plan and have tomorrow sorted so this is really working. Thanks to all of you for the ideas as Im new to this and quite proud of myself so far.
Sorry to hear pen pin is having a bad time with bullying, hope you decide to post again pen pin it would be a shame and we'd miss you Ive really enjoyed reading your posts on OS. Take care all

sorry aussie, but u can have a go at me all u like, i dont care at all, u are just showing the people on here your true colours, what a small minded person you really are, i feel pity for you i really do

i have always been nice to people on here, same cant be said for you

plain and simple it is bullying, however which way you look at it, had enough of bullies as i have just had to deal with my sons bullying and seeing what it did to him, i never ever want to see that again

why dont you all just think about what you say and how it affects others

I am later than I wanted to be, but have been on the phone for what seems like HOURS, it was one of those nights when I no sooner put the phone down it rang again, now it might sound like I am little "miss popular" tonight but alas no, I think I have had the whole streets survey's :rotfl:
I did speak to a couple of friends as well though

Its been soooo cold today I reckon snow is on the way, ah well, it is winter I suppose.

The beef stew in the SC was very welcome tonight when we got back, I could smell it as soon as we got through the front door.:drool:

Well I dont know what has been going, on but I hope you do post again PenPin, I like to read your posts, and I hate to think of you not coming in.
