Need to ring the roofer and then collect DS1 from school due to his foot and then get DS3The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Eeep! Well I hope at least one person in this family likes it :rotfl:Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -
Hiya
Bedroom is now decluttered and just needs cleaning. I need to finish the last few christmas cards too. Will worry about presents next week. Think i'll phone the vet and see how spotty puppy is getting on. Think i'm having withdrawal symptoms from her cuddles! xx0 -
Mudbath, I wish I lived closer so I could help you out while you recover. I was thinking bad idea close to xmas but maybe the best choice as there is more people off work etc then anyway and maybe your DH will be home more
AnW'sMum ((hugs)) I don't like my window cleaner either, they charge me £5 but do the conservatory and we have the double doors in the dining room etc but I know when I am not here they miss some as a neighbour told me
DP just irritated me sending me pictures of puppies, I said he can have one when he helps with the dogs we have! I do love my animals but have put my foot down and apart from fish (as the boys help with those) no more animals.
All the boys presents apart from slot machines in the garage are in the ottoman! Time for 5 mins sit down before I go to get DS2.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I suppose I better go collect DS1 and nephew from school.
Back in half an hour. An' It Harm None, Do As Thou Will
MACAW... EAT BETTER, no snacks, no junk0 -
Lil_me - are you moving again? What have I missed? I know what you mean about so close to christmas but my dh is off work for two weeks, my sister is over from the states for two weeks and my parents are around so that's lot of people to help with the children!!! Also, if I leave it until January, when the time comes i'll wish i'd already had it done. You can all keep me sane on here. I can sit with my feet up ordering you all around and pigpen can only shout at me if I do something....bliss!!!! So many positives:rotfl: xx0

The main dailies have been done, so I'm pleased about that.

The more regular cleaning coupled with missing windows could back fire on them as they might be getting sacked! It's just so frustrating as they know that it is just us three now and I can't help thinking they are using that to their advantage in so much as 'she won't want any hassle so we will try it on' kind of thing. Well they picked the wrong person!
I go collecting on my pa's window cleaning round... I had one woman try it on last time saying she had paid him when he went collecting on the Friday after they were last cleaned.. my reply.. 'well, actually he didn't come collecting the last time for 2 reasons, one of them being he was at his brothers funeral, the second being it was halloween and noone would answer the door the 2 days previous so it would have been a waste of time.. I came on the Wednesday and the Thursday and can categorically state you did not pay me'... aaaand she hands over the £7.00... some people REALLY take the pee!!
I think some people are often a bit shocked how quickly the 4 weeks come round!! I've been ollecting for about a year now and perfected the art of knowing who takes the pee and who doesn't... tell you what though we've had loads cancel of late 'cutting back' supposedly..
The big Georgian ones here with the proper leaded glass are £5-£7 a house.. depending on area (ie income) and number of windows.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
