Well done soappie, I have emptied my Dyson 3 times so far here too, have moved things which haven't been moved for a while :o I have left vacuum on the list for most rooms as I am doing some as I go but know it'll all need doing again once everything settles. We're finding lost things too, DSs are playing on Lego Star Wars which they haven't seen for a month.......I've found about £5 in change
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • I'm flagging now. We've moved the table from the study, or rather I brought some of the stuff down and DS moved the table (you can take the legs off) so that's re-assembled and in place. DS is now dismantling the PC so he can bring that down, but the PC desk will probably have to wait until tomorrow. Off to sort dinner, but am hoping a new thread might appear somewhere.

I am thinking I need another week as I am still very breathless, but the doc left a message to say she wants to speak to me anyway.

  • Evening all,

Not had much chance to catch up, been busy with family stuff this weekend but have finally managed to clean the bathroom and downstairs loo, desperately needed it in both...:o :o Just the floors to do, but I will vacuum them in a minute when I do the rest of upstairs... DS in bathroom now, so it will need a quick S&S when he's finished (by him too, if he makes the mess, he can clean it!)

My spare room/office is a complete tip - washing everywhere and paperwork on the desk is terrible - can't even fit the laptop on it at the moment, so that is my next job - then I can keep an eye on DS while he finally does his room - only taken him all week and it still looks the same! I can never understand how they can sit in their rooms without doing them, then moan that they had arranged to go out - honestly, it would take him about 30 mins top to do right out - but he will sit there doing nothing rather than just get it done!!!! Do you think they should be finding this lazy, bone idle gene in kids when they are born so they can take it out? how much would parents pay for that!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Right, onwards and upwards - need to get hubbies washing done so he can take it away with him to work for the week, then put rest of washing away and tidy up the paperwork into filing/needs doing - it's a start anyway...

There, bedroom all done, dusted and Dysoned to within an inch of its life. I feel so much better now it's done. I was going to tackle the bathroom today too, but I probably won't have time to finish that. I shall start though. But, now to stick the chook in the oven for dinner...

Hi all - sorry not caught up on the thread - no real internet connection all day.

I've cleaned out DS3's room, under the bed the lot and have a big pile of stuff he nolonger wants to ebay/charity/etc.

Been to Mr T, I don't like it there but had some vouchers. Did pick up a couple of little presents too.

Big fluffy cat has accepted little kitten so they are both in his big basket now - he even licked him earlier. Little cat is so happy, he just wanted a friend and looked lonely yesterday when they kept hissing at him. Female cat still has a right cob on.

Why is Diana still in the comp she is rubbish and affected and pretentious and such a fake.. she got laryngitis because she doesn't sing properly like she should she makes phony noises in her throat.. kick her out!

So glad you said that - I can't stand her and everyone is saying she is going to win just coz she has a different voice (bl00dy awful voice if you ask me) - she sounded awful this week, whereas Alex was absolutly brilliant - really hope she wins...
