soappie - I could just drink a G&T. Sadly we have neither, I ended up with amaretto last night when I fancied something other than wine! Must get some in for Christmas.

Awww Dusty - soooo cute! The food probably helped!
Rach - if you were closer, I'd pop a G&T over to you - the Gordons litre bottle is actually in Tesco at £13.00 at the mo.... (at least it was on Friday!)

Good news about the fridge - seems it's just the bulb - it's humming at me again.

I now need to go post on the Tax board. Seems DiL is having trouble with the tax man - she has 3 national insurance numbers!

I have three :o Two thin black ones, and a lovely big fat ginger. DH maintains I will be one of those smelly old ladies with 14 cats. He is probably right.

I too was born in Lancashire, if only just, it moved to Cheshire shortly afterwards. My DH is Lancashire born and bred. When I was young I used to go and see my Grandmother in Nelson and go to the park where there was an arch way. Traditionally you put a leaf in a hole in one side and whoever puts a leaf in the matching hole on the other side you will marry. DH used to put leaves in too  . The world is a suprisingly small place given that we met and married in Leics. Anyone remember The Five Penny Piece?

Off to put the boys in the bath and to bed, then HHI. Hold off on the beer till then after a nasty incident when I managed to catch my fingers in the steam press.

    just lost a huge post.

jist was well done to all those who have achieved loads whether flying, paperwork assignments or what.

Lunchtea's all cooked and munched. Chicken roasted for sandwich fillings. Shopping put away. WM and TD fed loads.

Kitchen still to clear, washing to sort into individual piles and put away and now to help DD clean her room which she turned into a tip since Tuesday and has been all day supposedly tidying. And what is it with her and creating potions, I have found several containers full of stuff, she mixes things like talc, water and liquid soap and crushed up Lush things with my food colourings and different flavourings. I swear she's dangerous and will either explode the house one day with her concoctions or become a great scientist if she could be bothered to study at all.

Lovely pic Dusty, glad theyre getting on now - I miss my puddy !!!!!
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

My Dad was Lancashire born and bred (Warrington), then they moved the boundaries and he became a Cheshire Cat like me. He was most put out. :rotfl:
