Pink - it's quite easy, you open your mouth, pour liquid in and swallow :p Seriously, hope all goes well with the Docs tomorrow.

Dusty - I wondered where you were. Lovely about big and little boy cats - maybe the female will come round soon..

Didn't manage to get a nap as hubby and kiddies dragged me out for a walk. Seems to have done the trick, now having a hot chocolate and then i'll crack on.

See you on the new thread.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I was quite surprised to see her still in the show last night, I honestly thought she would have been voted off after her laryngitis attack. And don't get me started on her performance last night, she really ruined that song and trying to look all coy and demure.

It's not just the voice, but the hands thing and the way she walks - the raised leg thing makes her look like a prancing pony and the barefoot bit is just annoying now (didn't do that at the auditions did she? why now?)

Suppose I'm being a bit mean really, lots of people seem to like her but she just really grates on me, think it is the favourite bit when she so clearly isn't the best.

Hope fame doesn't take it out of Alex though Pigpen, she really seems genuine, even Simon mentioned something about it, so hope she manages to stay that way!

Soappie, well done and enjoy you're G&T - you deserve it

Pink - don't have an alcoholic drink then, try a Hot Choccy with lashings of whipped cream on top and sprinkle a flake on it too then go hide away from everyone somewhere so you can REALLY enjoy it - it's the indulgence of it that makes you feel better (and the choccy helps too...;) ) Hugs hunny, I know what it's like to be in a job you hate, but if I can manage to get out, anyone can! there is light at the end of that tunnel you know...:A Oh, and good luck at the docs tomorrow...

Dusty awww bless them, I bet it's so cute! One thing that's never happened here is Luke and Megan getting close, they were both close with Holly but even if they follow each other around you never get the closeness with them like they did with her. Luke's too scared of her I think to get that close. Loads of photos of both of them both snuggling with Holly however.
soappie enjoy that G&T, could just drink myself but, kids and recovering, bad idea. Enjoy a second one for me please ;)
Flower sounds like you have been full of busy.
PF your friend sounds a little, obsessive, hopefully an escape route will come up for you soon

Well that's the utility finished, have done some more in the kitchen, DW emptied and refilled, have poured a bag of borax on the sink to try to get it clean, I've been emptying buckets in there all day from cleaning other things so it's a bit urgh! Dyson emptied again :o Heating on.

Need to go gather laundry from upstairs and I suppose I should go put some clothes back on, I changed back into PJ bottoms to clean in as I was on the floors etc but realising some of DPs friends cars are outside, some must have gone from here this morning, so I best get dressed as I don't know what time they will all pile back here with DP not taking his phone. Fetching as they are I am sure they don't want to see me in my pink eeyore PJ bottoms :rotfl:will strike more off my list then go get dressed.

Phew, no hurry, DPs friend just rang, they were looking for his phone, sheesh just aswell it's insured, he's only realised he hasn't got it 11 hours later. They are just packing up now so they will be a while. Can get dressed after I have done some more in the kitchen :D
One day I might be more organised...........

Hello all. Have been busy today and actually too busy to switch PC or DD or DS were on when I did have time. Popped into town for somebits (free parking:D ) as I ran out of time yesterday and made a potato hash (Lancashire style) with homemade dumplings as DS likes them (he was very impressed with my dumplings) and they fill him up and he is HOLLOW:eek: and made Eve's pudding which DD took out of the oven while I developed hypothermia watching DS's team win AGAIN 2-0 (last week they were away...(4-2):D actually not too bad as I wore my thermal undertrousers (that sounds so much posher than Long Johns:rotfl:)
Oh have dyed my hair too Copper gold Movida to cover the grey...
Ironed this morning so that needs putting away/distributing according to owner and I have the last of the ironing to do which I will do shortly.

Pigpen - Lancashire has a coast too...dead select it is...Lytham St. Annes, Southport and Blackpool... very posh:rotfl:and Fleetwood...many happy hours spent there...

Now off to [strike]nag[/strike] encourage DS and DD to get their bags ready for school and put their clean clothes away.
    back soon...

From that umungus list (as DS2 called it) this is all I have left to do

vacuum and mop floor kitchen & DRoom
    Clear drainer
    Clean sink and drainer
    Clear second bench
Clean second half of door fronts
    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Apart from sorting through the boxes of cleared poop in the conservatory, which I cleaned/vacuumed before putting the stuff in there, all downstairs 'rooms' are how I want them. Just need to reorganise the hall, clean the carpet in there and that's downstairs done!

Then there is some extras I need to do tonight
    Empty DW when finished
    Get DSs school bags ready
Make the rest of packed lunches
Bath boys inc treatment on DS1s hair, which he hates!
    Make something for boys tea
Make something for our tea, or make DP get something for himself if he's too late back
    Start on the hall
One day I might be more organised...........

Lil-me - you've put us all to shame!

Well last two bits of paperwork done - invoice for last two weeks work :D and scanned and printed off my receipt for the washing machine from a couple of weeks ago - If I send it off, I get 6 months free supply of Ariel Excel Gel. Can't be bad! I'm hoping it comes in the form of vouchers.... which can be redeemed off the bill at Mr. T's

On the downside, I've just discovered there may be a problem with my fridge. The light won't come on. I'm hoping it's just the bulb blown but, I've upped the thermostat and it doesn't hum at me at the mo - maybe everything's cold enough as it is.... Hmmm. Will have to keep an eye on it...

Well have just been in to tell DS why he hasn't got a full complement of clean uniform for the week...because a pair of trousers and two shirts are still in his bedroom waiting to be put into the laundry. Too late now ... it will be Tuesday at the earliest before a washload goes in ... he will learn!
Aired laundry away now so will throw myself at the last of the ironing...
