Pigpen~ I agree, I think the cost of going where every this food is out weighs the cost of getting there, but Triker I hope it is a good day out.

  • Not a bad morning because I've managed to do all the ironing. DS has finally managed to surface but his legs are not brilliant. I've put all the furniture that was temporarily in the soon-to-be-study back in the dining room and the china back in the display cabinet, so I'm just going to clean the floor before we make a start on moving the study downstairs. We'll see how much we get done before we stop for some lunch.

Thanks you for my hugs, I do feel a bit better today but my stomachs making some absolutely awful noises, I am pleased I don't need to go anywhere public today as it could be a bit embarrassing. Sickness seems to have stopped which is the main thing. Really bright here today but also frosty, everythings been crunchy all day and even in the sun nothing has defrosted. Does make everything outside look pretty but I have no inclination to go out in it if not necessary!

DP and my boys do Norad, they have asked me to put it on the favourites for their computers because they have both been fixed this year and no longer saved so thanks for the link will save me finding it.

I decided to crack on this morning as I have a mountain to get done so have done a lot before I have logged on. One side of the kitchen is finished, I have even reorganised my baking trays so hopefully I will be a bit less messy a cook, the first messy problem has been that I stored them all in the oven so every time I used the oven they got thrown on the bench. I've tried to get the boys to help with the LR they have helped move boxes and started tidying some things but unless there is a foot permenantly planted up their backside to keep them moving they stop!

This afternoons jobs (well the first part of them)

    Kitchen
    Clear window sill
    Clean window sill
    Clean window
    Clear drainer
    Clean sink and drainer
    Empty DW when finished
    Refill DW
    Clear other benches
    Reorganise cereal storage
Sort through baking cupboard a bit to see what is in
    Clean cupboard door fronts
    Clear boxes from kitchen
    Clean floor

Living room (that I am hoping the boys will help with)
Clean TV cabinet (as DP has never managed to do it)
Move rest of boxes into conservatory
    Clean under TV cabinet
Clear other surfaces that have been cluttered again
Clean all fuzzy surfaces with damp dusters
    Clean speaker stands
    Take encyclopaedias upstairs
    Put shoe box, somewhere
Find somewhere more permenant to store vax
    Vacuum and mop floor

    Others
Put washer load that is in on airers/in drier
Make sandwiches for packed lunches for a few days (rolls need freezing)

Right, doing a HHC 1-1.30pm see what I can get done out of that lot. Need to get that lot done hopefully within a couple of hours as there is the dining room, utility and hall to do and that is just the downstairs jobs
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • Hi everyone.

Just a quick hello. Not had chance to catch up on the thread for a few days and I'm now off to IL's house to cook a roast dinner for everyone whilst they're at the Manchester Derby. Hopefully might get chance to catch up in between cooking but depends how long DD2 sleeps for....she's only been having about 30 mins compared with the usual 2 hours!!!!!!

    See you later.
