  • Good morning all,

Been awake since 6, but read until 8.

Done my dailies and thinking I might get the ironing out of the way while DS is still in bed.

I know the real one coz we did that in A & P! - Deoxyribonucleic acid

Triker, Valli - I know Farnworth and Halliwell! :j My brother was born in Bolton (181 Green Lane, I'll have you know!), and I went to St Simon and St Jude's primary school. We used to go up Rivington Pike for picnics in the summer.

My sister and I love tracking Santa with Norad (she's 53 and I'm 50 :o)! :T I think we embarrass my two.

Right anyone for a :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee: while I'm setting the ironing board up. Gonna watch the Corrie omnibus DS recorded for me yesterday.

Morning, got a serious layer of frost here this morning.
Kids in a horrible mood, and I have a headache.

I can tell we are going to have a pretty crappy day here today.
Oh well, I'll disappear upstairs and DP can handle the kids while I fly lol.

    Morning all

Very grey here this morning, I had thought about going to church but didn't get up in time so never mind. Have just had breakfast and S&S kitchen now I'm going to watch last night's casualty before getting the bathroom done. Want to get to the bottom of my list today and realised I'd also forgotten a couple of bits we need yesterday so need to go to the shops again...

 I think my cold is getting worse. Suppose I should just be glad it shouldn't develop into flu as I've had my jab. Also DD2 is all snotty and chesty as well :( Oh and my back is sore so I need to go and find some drugs for that.

Right this evening my parents are coming round for tea so I have a huuuuuuuuuge list of things to do:

    Clean kitchen floor
    Clear dining room table
Clear floor around dining room table
    Do washing up
    Hang up wet washing
    Get dry washing from dryer
    Clear work surfaces
    Make lemon drizzle cake
    Make Christmas puddings
    Clear lounge floor
    Vacuum lounge floor
Put up Christmas tree (children will kill me if I say no!)
    Prepare veg etc for tonight
Try and make study floor look clean as I now can't just shut the door on it!

Think it's about time I sent someone to wake Mr G up :D
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

    resistance is futile....

and why is YORKSHIRE being eroded by the sea while LANCASHIRE (see Southport) gets bigger?

    Now I will shuttup as I fancy a nite on the lash with P & T ...

Yorkshire is being eroded because it is on the edge... duh... lancashire hides in the middle behind yorkshire cos it is a scaredy wimp!

    When you coming then?

Obviously - cos the real one would have given him the train set...
but he HAS to have deputies he is VERY BUSY right now - were it not for the time zones he would NOT make his rounds on xmas eve... (as I told Y4 boy about 3 years ago when I was asked how FC gets right round the whole world in one night. And he only goes to families/children who celebrate xmas...which isn't everyone. Serious nodding...thankyou ...teacher sighed with relief...)

Couldn't agree more, Miss A was told something very similar a couple of years ago when she recognised this FC as her adoptive GF! Think he was more upset at being recognised than she was.

Plus the different times zones.. they help.. and he has to miss some places out because there are nasty people who might shoot him out of the sky.. hence we send shoeboxes to the children in unsafe developing countries.. parts of Africa, Afghanistan, etc...

DH has taken the kids to see his parents as it's his mother's birthday tomorrow - I cried off as I need to get this work finished even though I can't do half of it now as half of the stuff I need is at work!

Pretty much finished what I can do on it though so it looks like I'll have to try and get in work early tomorrow and then work through my lunch as well (for a change:rolleyes:)
