Well my list is getting shorter :D but, once again, it's the front room that is horrendous :o I did dust shelves and things earlier, but that's about it! I can't see it ever looking nice

Friday - living area, hall and stairs

    Level one
Declutter all these areas (hall and stairs done!)
Vacuum these areas (stairs done as far as I can reach!)

    Level Two
    Wipe/vacuum sofas

    Level Three
    Binbag dance

    Extras
    1. HHI
    2. Wipe down all the paintwork in these areas
    My one-a-day (or 7-a-weekend!!) list:

    Docs appt
    Put shoe rack together
    Phone Union
    Phone solicitors
    Box up football programmes
    Car checks

    Hi peeps

looks like some people have been up early and cracked on - not so me, house looks no better than when I started and I only managed 1/2 of one room before settling down in front of X factor and I'm a celebrity.

    Today I have
    • had breakfast with DD and OH before he went off to bed after yet another night shifts
    • soaked in the bath for my sunday morning treat
    • read the newspaper
    • drank plenty of caffeine
    • fed WM and TD tooo many times I've lost count
    • folded a huge amount of clothes and bedding
    • been food shopping and got a few bits for christmas
    • started putting stuff away but then remembered I needed to come to puter to try and book a christmas delivery slot which should come online today. bet i've missed them now off to have a look
then i'll get on again starting by putting shopping away then cooking roast
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Right - I'm off to football. At least it's stopped raining for the minute so I might get there in the dry! Now, anyone seen my thermals ;)

When I get back, I need to do my HHI (provided I haven't had too many San Miguels :p ) x

    Aftenoon all

Two loads of washing done, I've hung some outside because it's windy but it's not drying, too cold I think. Will drape it round inside when the heating comes on later.

DH back from fishing so we've put all the stuff back up in the loft.

Cooked roast dinner, all eaten and cleared away.

Not done much else, can't be bothered!

kassey I have brought the caravan one home and finding it very useful, I am less reluctant to vacuum upstairs because I don't need to either carry it up/down or get someone else to.

Right, got carried away, did 3 x HHC in one. Decided after doing some of the kitchen to follow my own advice and get one room done first, so came back into the LR and declared war! Lets see how my list looks now

    Kitchen
    [strike]Clear window sill
    Clean window sill
    Clean window [/strike]
    Clear drainer
    Clean sink and drainer
    [STRIKE]Empty DW when finished
    Refill DW[/STRIKE]
    Clear other benches
    [strike]Reorganise cereal storage
Sort through baking cupboard a bit to see what is in [/strike]a lot!
Clean cupboard door fronts done half
    [STRIKE]Clear boxes from kitchen [/STRIKE]
    Clean floor

Living room (that I am hoping the boys will help with) haha fat chance they just got in the way!
[strike]Clean TV cabinet (as DP has never managed to do it)
Move rest of boxes into conservatory
    Clean under TV cabinet
Clear other surfaces that have been cluttered again
Clean all fuzzy surfaces with damp dusters
    Clean speaker stands
    Take encyclopaedias upstairs
    Put shoe box, somewhere
    Clean sofas
    Vacuum and mop floor
Find somewhere more permenant to store vax [/strike]
    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j LR is DONE!!!!!

    Others
[strike]Put washer load that is in on airers/in drier
Make sandwiches for packed lunches for a few days (rolls need freezing)[/strike]

I have followed the system I decided on which mean't boxing all the **** of other peoples I have been asking them to shift for weeks so when I get 'where is *** and ***' I will say in one of those many boxes  until I get chance to sort through them all.

Right, that looks much better, now I need to add dining room aswell............it's a tiny room and the most cluttered now I think, oh utility aswell

    Dining Room
[strike]Move chairs that don't belong in there.
Move the boxes into the conservatory of anything that needs sorting
Tidy table inc DPs keyboard books
Clear the OU stuff, last box of books to be flung but was waiting for recycling box to be empty
    Dust Woody's tank [/strike]
    vacuum and mop floor

    Utility
    [strike]Move trainsets to boys rooms
    Move DPs junk into garage
Sort through laundry box (my box of laundry cleaning stuff)
    Sort cloths storage [/strike]
[strike]Sort carrier bag storage (I think they multiply themselves!)
    Move shoes
    Clean fridge freezer
    Clear stuff off floor
Clear breakfast bar (piled high and haven't been able to eat at it for a month:eek:)
    Vacuum floor
    Mop Floor
    Clean step[/strike]

Hmmmmm I think another few HHCs chucked together is needed to make a start on it all. 3-3.30pm being the first one so I can have a coffee, not had one for 2 days and I really need one! Conservatory looks like a store room but at least if I can get the rooms how I want them the junk can come back in to tidy clean rooms and be put in the right place, well that is the theory anyway!
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
