When I need to desperately dash to the loo, it's not a fortune it's worth....... it's priceless!!:rotfl:
Before I lived here I lived in a house where the loo (and bathroom) was right by the back door. My bladder got into the habit (started when pregnant so I do have an excuse) so much so that when I unlocked the door I HAD to go straight to the loo. Then I moved here...my bladder had to be retrained because I had to
    run through kitchen
    run through dining room
    run through hall
    run upstairs...

I am MUCH better now :rotfl:

  • Johanne poor you chick, it's horrible when you feel like that isn't it. You'll be ok though you know. Give your lovely Dad a big squeeze when you see him tomorrow, and Pumpkin can give him a big one tooth grin!!!! :)

You moan away lovie, we all do don't we! And you know me, I don't have any of that 'don't feel sorry for me' thing... if you feel blue, you feel blue, and that's just the way it is.... but asking a bunch of flyladies not to give you any sympathy, well, that's just going too darn far!!!! ;)

    ((((((hugs)))))) honey. :)

Personally I wouldn't have ANYTHING other than a zanussi or bosch.. the cheapy ones.. beko, indesit, Candy, servis are rubbish.. hotpoint last about a year at best before they fall to pieces and cost a small fortune to have repaired.

I have 2 washing machines and both are zanussi.. my last 4 were also zanussi and before that I had an ancient hoover and a whirlpool... I wouldn't have either of those gift wrapped.

I've got a Bosch clasixx 1400, can fit tons in, researched it for ages before I decided. If buying online don't forget quidco or topcashback.:D

ETA Jo -no you DO deserve hugs and support and sympathy !!!!!! you are going through an awful time at the moment - because of someone else's selfish decision.
There are no rules (AFAIK) about housework only here - this is a total support thread...women doing what they have done through the ages...stay here and get the support you need and deserve...you are bound to feel down ...I made the split decision and still went through angst and guilt...you have had it thrust upon you. We are here and we care. End of!
I would be round with wine and chocs if I could ... and I wouldn't be alone either...

I bet we could have a comp (a bit like 'the last brownie' one in Notting Hill)...you would defo be in with a chance:rotfl:

And so say all of us!!!:T We're here for you, hun. Don't you dare put yourself down, wallow alone or feel pooh without shouting us for a hug! Consider yourself well and truly ((((((((hugged))))))).

ETA (I can do that - now that I know what it means ) could you make a card with Pumpkin' hand print on? And as for a present - do you have a spare recent piccie of her? If I was her grandparent that would be absolutely priceless. x

  • Valli Re: your 3 CCs.... I've got 3 too... snap  Have you done the snowball calculator thing??? It's flippin ace! Although it can be a little demoralising when you see how long it'll take to clear off. However, you might find that it's better to chuck as much as you can at the debt, and then save for the bathroom.... S'pose it depends how fast you need/want the bathroom? :D

I know it made my DH wince when he realised the difference between adding £50 a month to the debt repayment - v - saving the same £50. The extra £50 pays off the debt 5 months earlier. Saving 5 months debt repayment... which equates to about a £1000 more in our pocket than if we'd simply saved it.... IYSWIM.

Well hubby DD2 and DS's 2 and 3 gutted the girls room today....

We have half a binbag for charity shop and 8 binbags of rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a rug on the floor!!... ooooooooohhhhhh

Tomorrow we need to drag everything out from under the beds and deal with that.. I think most of it can probably go in the bin again., but my 2 wheelies are both full to bursting and they don't get emptied until Thursday.. guess who will be filling the neighbours bins this week!

Great minds...........did the same today, and our wheelie bin is full and it doesn't get emptied till friday..........I may lug it round to your house for thursday and get our council tax worth on bbin collection :rotfl:
