Ok back from 1st Chrsitmas present run, put flowers on my mothers grave, but had to be quick about it as there was about to be a burial in the next plot, that wasnot what I expected when I turned up.

My father took me out to lunch, and it was yummy.

Went to a local Frech market that was visiting in the local town

    Diven 310 miles in total

Done no flying what so ever.

    Now off to read

Hugs any one who needs them

  • Hi Toots :hello: hope you're having a wonderful time... and it's lovely to see you popping in from time to time!!

I am feeling VERY pleased with myself because I have downloaded a podcast (the Now Show on R4) first time AND have copied it onto my MP3 player

I love the Now Show too.... it makes me choke on my coffee!!!! Well done for downloading it.... those things feel like such an achievement don't they!! S'like reverse parking on my side..... that always makes me feel inordinately proud of myself :D

How did the takeaway go? Still in budget?

Takeaway was only ok... a little disappointing if I'm honest. But, yes, still in budget.... I'm just tussling with the whole Christmas thing now... obviously the budget is new, and savings for 'occasions' are not in place. They will be for next year though ;) So, it's a bit difficult, I think it's going to have to be a budget Christmas added to a card... which won't impact things too massively iYSWIM, but.... it does feel like a backward step... (we haven't used cards for 3 months) I dunno really, I don't know how else we can do it without doing next to nothing... Anyhoo... whatever, it'll be fine!

Have returned them as it would have been dishonest to keep them...and set my kids a bad example (poo!).

Good Girl, well done, maybe Santa will bring you something tasty... perhaps one of Toots' throws for the bed :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My baby boy is growing up! He just traipsed into the kitchen to make himself a pink chocolate (strawberry to you and me ;) ) milkshake. He dragged the lil stool to the cupboard got the powder and a cup out. Got the milk and spoon and mixed it all on his own :D Then he liked the milk top 'to make it clean' and the spoon with a view to putting it away in the drawer again :rotfl: Then he made milkshakes for Miss A and their cousin who is here this afternoon.

Awwwwww that's soooooo sweet, especially cleaning up so nicely  after himself.

I love xmas trees. I have a fibre optic big one. But I also have a little battered one about 12 ins. A few years ago now I was burgled at xmas. Nearly everything in the house went. Anyway I went out and found this little xmas tree which was all I could afford as I was skint. I just cant throw it away as it means a lot. People rallied around to help me. For me that was the true meaning of xmas and Ive never forgot it.

*gulp* *sniff* *choke* That's made me feel all emotional Boddy

Does anyone want to come and bone a chicken for me? Got one to do and I really can't be bothered! Going to wait till Mr G is back though as the knife is sharp :D

I just have no enthusiasm what so ever to do anything!

I would if I were closer - I really enjoy doing it (sad ain't I)

Boned out and stuffed 4 chicken thighs this afternoon - two for OH and I to have for lunch tomorrow and two for the freezer. (bought a pack of SP legs and thighs £1.89, there are four legs as well in the pack so I'l turn them into a stew with dumplings)

Hugs to all, not much flying done here today as I've been laid up with a migrane most of it but OH has painted what will be the study soon and I've also managed to get all the washing done.

Homemade pizza in the oven and it smells yummy.

After it's eaten kiddies going to bed, driving me nuts today.

WM and TD changed over, dishes done.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Vali - i've had to move big cat's basket as he really was not getting the message - I'd move him and he'd just move back and look at me as if to say this is a cat basket and I'm a cat what's the problem. Trouble is he wants to be next to the AGA as it is warm, which is where she wants to be too.

AnW'sMum - so glad the train is up

    Lil_me huggles for you

I'm very premenstral all of a sudden, poor kids it makes me scream at them.

  • Hi

Hope everyone is well and welcome newbies/returners. So far today I've done laundry, shopping and errands, including writing out some more Xmas cards. My aims for the rest of the evening are to do some more errands and empty bins
  • hello everyone, just wanted a bit of advice.... my WM has gone :( and need a new one, my lovely mum has said she will get me one as my bday and xmas present (lucky as i could do without the pay out with xmas etc...) anyway she has said to look on argos (she gets staff discount...) and said there is some good washer and driers, has anybody got one or know anyone with one?? i dont have room to have seperate ones and i have so much washing now let alone when baby no3 comes along.
