Wooohoooo the train lights are up :D took all of 3 mins :rotfl: can see DH smiling down now. Just need to sort a trailing extension lead and timer plug so I don't have to faff around in all the cables every night before bed.

I bet W is pleased. DS2 really really wants train ones but I hardened my heart and purse. I wonder if they have them in Argos again this year......:p

Just finished a HHI and everything put away.

Have tidied living room and put recycling in the bin.

Dont feel like going out tonight but will probably be fine when I get there.

Going to have a cuppa and a nose through the Argos sale book.

Soappie Oooh I love hot buttered toast. Sounds like you have had a lovely time.

lickle gibbon. I love xmas trees. I have a fibre optic big one. But I also have a little battered one about 12 ins. A few years ago now I was burgled at xmas. Nearly everything in the house went. Anyway I went out and found this little xmas tree which was all I could afford as I was skint. I just cant throw it away as it means a lot. People rallied around to help me. For me that was the true meaning of xmas and Ive never forgot it.

I'll join you for the HHC but in my case it'll be HHP! (in between going OUT IN THE COLD FOGGY GARDEN TO THE SHED WHERE THE TD LIVES...) as it's almost time to swap loads over...brrr***shivers dramatically***
Kitten moved from big cats bed 10 times

Felt all Christmasey in JL as they were giving out full sized glasses of Cava and mini tasters fo Champagne - I was in there quite a while - felt very tipsy as I walked home.
How many times has kitty been moved now...and LOL at you teetering tipsily round JL...it's VERY dangerous being tipsy in shops...;) I know - purse has been really HARMED on more than 1 occasion (when I was younger and foolish. Was gonna say single but really mean pre-kids:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )
Found all the cards that I got in the sales last year -
I went to look for mine AND I HARDLY BOUGHT ANY!
So I need to do a proper tally...bet I can get some very cheaply tomorrow at BHS or somewhere...or next Saturday (knowing me it'll be the Sat after:rotfl: :rotfl: )

ETA Boddy - that must have been awful...but nice that people helped IYSWIM...it was late Dec when I had my bag grabbed...about a week before xmas...

AnW'sMum I love the licking clean idea, he's ready to be a student already!
Pollybear I know what you mean about not saying they have used the last of something, then they just expect more to be there when they need it?
vanilla I have a MR fastbake and downloaded the instructions for it online, you could see if your BM has instructions that you can download
Juliejim my boys are 7 and 9 (M is the smallest and oldest if you're looking at the facebook piccys)
Hex great news on selling the car, not an easy thing to do at the mo, DP ended up giving our spare one to his brother as we had no interest
OJK hope the budgie are well behaved, I remember having one as a pet when we were little and loved it.

Thanks for my hugs. Well I've had a shower and got myself more upright than I have been all day, feel cleaner but no better. DP made the kids lunches with them before he went back out which was a great help. He'll be back later for his tea then going to work, so will need to feed him and the boys. I feel hungry in a way but my stomach feels like it's in knots and I know it wouldn't stay down/in if I have anything yet. Oh I hate tummy bugs. Going to have to sort some way of getting 'ull presents to DPs Dad's house, I am wondering if it would be too brave of me to drive over there without needing the loo :o will see how I feel when they phone to say they are back.

I have done no fying at all, actually no that is a lie, I have filled the WM and gathered all the laundry from upstairs. DSs tidied their rooms :D they can be good sometimes, however DS1s now being a horrible brat. Kitchens still a tip and needs doing asap, utility too but that's sort of one room as there isn't a door just a huge step down.
One day I might be more organised...........
