Afternoon all,

We're back from seeing Santa, Ds2 enjoyed it. He walked into the grotto and said wow a special place. He did get a bit confused though when he told Santa he had 3 teddies at home on the sofa, santa thought he said sweet teddies and told him not to eat them all at once. So Ds2 said i can't eat my teddies with a confused look on his face:rolleyes: , bless him.

I'm just drinking my coffee then i'd better get stuck back in.

Where did THAT come from? Have had to get the washing back off the line so it is either IN the TD or ON the TD wating to go in. And it has gone VERY cold too so I have whipped upstairs and closed the windows. Oh well - thought it was too good to be true.

Other that that though all the ironing is done and away so this will be sorted and ironed as soon as it is dry.

Now off to do some more jobs.

Back from a nice lunch and chat with DH, our usual Saturday ritual which i love. I was very good and didn't have any cake! Am seriously shattered still and think this list is going to be for the whole weekend not just today. :rolleyes: DH is now busy with the computer that he formatted the other day and I'm watching another week's casualty. Was lazy and bought an enchilada kit for dinner so will look forward to that later.

Felt all Christmasey in JL as they were giving out full sized glasses of Cava and mini tasters fo Champagne - I was in there quite a while - felt very tipsy as I walked home.

Fog and -1 a little further down the M1 Valli, has been all day.

My hands and feet are freezing, I wish we had good central heating and a combined bill of less than £180 per month . Sold DH's old car yesterday so we may finally be able to change to a combi boiler and be able to open up the old bake oven between the kicthen and the DR :j . Got to sort out quotes next week.

DW emptied and filled, WM/TD are on, made a mixed bean and chorizo casserole for lunch that went down well. This afternoon I need to help SS2 to make his christmas cakes for grandparents, but I just noticed the treacle is BBE 10/07. Should be ok shouldn't it....?

Triker, Can't remember if I was going on about having forgotten how good Cif cream is on the bathroom. Pain to rinse off but I have never seen our disgusting avacado stuff shine so well. :cool:

ETA - Dusty forgot to say thanks for the kitten pictures. Lovely, very envious. DS2 has changed his Christmas request to ferrets now?!?

Thanks we have the exclusive and retro :rolleyes: avacado coloured bathroom too, it's in need of a good clean, will try cif cream.

So far today I have done my grocery shopping, bought a new vacuum cleaner (15% off ), stripped the bed, done a load of washing and hung it up to dry.

Loads more to do so ....

Thrown 3 huge bags of rubbish from DD2's room, tons more to come, sent her up to sort through her stuff.

Also bagged up 2 binbags of stuff to charity shop, clothes that no longer fit.

Huge pile of shoes to sort.........DD1 still wandering about like death warmed up, so I'll have to wait to get her to get de-cluttering.

OH tiling kitchen and then I need to re distribute food from other cupboards into the carousel cupboard that OH fixed for me the other day.

Done another load of washing which will go with the wet washing mountain that I'll then lug to the launderette to dry. This is becoming a regular ritual, but for the price of around £10.00 I get about a fortnights worth of washing, dry, folded and sorted in a few hours so for me, its worth it.

DD2 sorted all the assorted socks and underwear and put it in piles so although it doesn't feel like it I suppose we're getting somewhere.:D

Defrag pc/run virus scan while washing down the tiles

Friday - living area, hall and stairs

Declutter all these areas
Vacuum these areas

Level Two
Wipe/vacuum sofas
Wash windows
Dust.. inc electrical appliances

Level Three
Binbag dance
