    Morning all

I am back from my travels. Had a horrendous night in an awful hotel on Thurs night (music til 3am) then a busy all day meeting then 4 hour journey home before dinner out with the in laws! So a long lie in was just what I needed this morning - managed til 10.15 which isn't bad!

DH is busy cleaning again - bless him! He's cleaning the kitchen windows and surrounds and various other bits :D He's so thorough it always looks fab! I do want to get a bit of other flying done though as I've not managed any this week. So after we've had been out for lunch my list is:

    top up shop
bathroom - loo, sink, bath, tiles, shelf, floor
    bedroom - hoover, make bed,
    wm x 3 (1) (2) (3)
    repot parsley
    S&S kitchen
    sweep kitchen floor
    empty bag from weekend

    I have done 3x laundry
    2 x bags recycling
    2 x bags of rubbish
    SS the bathroom
    Unloaded the DW
Made a big pot of minestrone soup
I am going to sit down with a coffee.
  • 1st tree done - you're brave summermoon, asking your OH to put decs up - my DH is a poppet and has many talents, but having an artistic eye is not one of them :D (he does make up in other areas tho' :D)

Good life xmas special is especially poignant this year with so many people struggling financially - a real getting back to basics of being with people you enjoy rather than throwing money at a problem - i'm actually loooking forward to Xmas this year as we've all agreed to the 1 pressie rule for once, especially my nan, whose xmas stocking gifts would usually fit an elephant with water retention, 25 gifts later and we're all still unwrapping!!!!! - nearly makes up for the fact that i'm working on 24-27th Dec and New Year's Day too

    nicki/holly - don't overdo it
    I'd rather be watching CSI!
