OOO Penny I just made the weetabix cake!!!! Entirely different animal!!! Very yummy, but a little too sweet for my household... I'd definitely make it again, probably with half the quantity of sugar.
I had it still hot, with butter...yum yum yum yum yum
Thanks for that recipe PP
Flower I don't think I've mentioned it.... so you're clearly extremely intuitive.... but, yes, we are in fact, on a budget!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:MMSSB Club Founder Member

I have left the meeting today with a massive queen sized bumblebee in my bonnet and probably upset a few people with the email I have just sent, but I believe it needed to be said. I got involved with this for a reason and the reasons aren't being met. So I got all grrr and had a rant
to be honest if things don't change I think I will be leaving the group, which however much it'd upset me because of the effort put in so far, I feel strongly about this. I did think at first oh I can't I will upset people but why should I not stand up for what I believe in?
I have emailed those on the Xmas card list with a brainwave I had, if you want to send the cards all to me I will send them to everyone, more info on the email so please check it
Justamum what about developing his interest further, something like books on WW1/2 or something?
soappie you need a pink Anglia!
vanilla kids decorations are the best ones, however if you do want to buy I decorated my tree last year (which everyone said was so nice) from the £ shop
Natty I'd have probably given up :rotfl: what a carry on, I hope it's worth it once it's finished, I am sure it will be after all that effort.
kazw I am sure he will think it's lovely, what a wonderful thing for your nephews to want to do.
Aww a new kitten in the Dusty house, you are forgiven from hindered flying in exchange for a photo, what's his name? Ah oops crosspost, oh he's so tiny!
Gryfon not stupid, me time is precious, however if he's working I suppose there is a need to be thankful for it when times are difficult financially, I am having to do that with my DP now, I have my 7th evening out (with him) but that will be my only evening off until after Xmas.
Ooooo just watching the news with the Woolworths thing, being taken off being the distributor for lottery, oooo that's bad.
Anyway, I got back, collected DS2, walked woofs (kids came with me which was a bit strange....they usually don't want to) made tea, made DPs sandwiches and drink for work, put Vax away (had left bits out to dry) well it's in the corner as will be needed tomorrow by DPs brother for doing his car, moved some stuff (was hoping DP would have moved some of the heavy boxes but he'd done nothing at all as usual apart from wash his brother car to please his mother, grrrrrrr, grrrrrrr, I didn't know she was back next week grrrrrrrr!) washer load out onto airers
Will do a 'tonight' list in a mo after I have had a think, suppose I should continue to do this room so I get at least one finished.
Oh, for those who get 'real trees' when do you get them. I do mean the cut ones not the ones in pots, got too many in the garden now for a potted one.One day I might be more organised...........

Not great shots but don't want to keep you waiting too long - he is called Woody (after Tiger Woods of course!) he is sound asleep on DS2's lap who has been so excited all day and is so happy - he doesn't want his tea cause he doesn't want to wake the kittenThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Good for you standing up for what you believe in - I'm on the committee of our local club and get the same thing and had a bit of a blow up last week myself - we meet next thursday so that should be interesting...;)
Got your message, it's a great idea, just wanted to say thank you.
But I am really lousy at getting organised - If I can get them this weekend and written out, I'll send them to you but don't hang on for me...:oLBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Flower as long as I know who I am waiting for that is all that matters, I don't mind waiting, I won't be hassling anyone, as long as I have 4/5 days to get them to people after they get to me that should be fine. Mine won't even be done until at least next week. Just thought it would be a good idea. This is MSE after all. To be honest with the group I am known as the mouthy one, because what others think I say! This time I thought why not live upto my reputation.
soappie aswell as the Anglia, a station sign, Roland Rat lived under King's Cross! One day I might be more organised...........

He is not as black as our other cat who is jet black and glossy, he has slight stripes as you can see but is more black than brown. Black cat just spied him and was no impressed - she walked out the room:rotfl:The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
