Good evening ladies :hello:

I am still rather achey but am going to now have a walk around the house and pick up a few things and load dishwasher. The kids have had a late night as i said we could all watch a movie, it was great all snuggle dup on the sofa with the bed pulled out.
Hope everyone is well and for all that are't too well big hugs to you all (((~~))).
I have a few phone calls to make now to friend i couldn't speak to last night as i was so tired my brain just was not functioning:o .
Night flyladies, i hopefully will joing in a few HHC's tomorrow so fingers crossed the acheyness passes x
:wave:You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0 -
Evening
nowt much done here again.
Full day at work but not horrendously busy, new big boss hasnt even started yet but is making horrible waves, she reduced the line manager to tears so we had to take her down the pub at lunchtime!
Have since rushed home and got DD ready to go to a birthday party at Frankie & Bennys. Mooched round the out of town stores while she was in there and spotted a fab leather jacket in Next but darent ask OH to buy it for me as £130 (and I dont NEED it so not MSE but it would go lovely with my newish boots and new leather bag)
came back and have done errrr nothing except bit of facebook (dont go there often but needed to contact our old au pair in France for her new address) and made a phone call to catch up with my bessie mate who I hadnt spoken to for about 3 weeks  . Oh and had JP with philly for my tea. Not going to start a list now so think I'll go to bed eearly and catch up a bit with finances (OH is at work again)
Looks like I have a big weekend list again but thats ok
See you all soon
Kazm
PS Forgot to say thank you Lilme for the MSE offer of posting the cards but even if we put stamps in, I'd hate you to be out of pocket which you may well beMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
I think I've definetely finished my flying for the day, no energy to do anything!
kazmeister...I'm after a new short, woollen jacket with a hood for the winter. Trouble is I don't want to spend loads and the arms have to be nice and long! My mum bought me a lovely jacket last year or the one before, arms were far too short though!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -
OOooh and if one of the boys has a rubber snake, add that as an accessory...
Ah, one problem, this is JUST for the afternoon from what the form says, if he needs to do it himself a tshirt might be more tricky, will confirm with teacher tomorrow.
Belt, my curtain things are blue the only ones I have, hmmm, will have to think of something for that.
THOSE ASKING ABOUT CARDS/COST TO ME
Thanks for your concern but, I would be sending everyone one anyway, sending them all like this will cost maybe another stamps worth, possibly 2 at a push then there is just the envelopes which are cheap. If everyone sends an extra stamp (on the paper) it should cover it. So don't worry about how much it's costing me and just get writing/sending! I think it's just a much more mse way. We also line Royal Mail's pockets a bit less too! Better in our pockets than theirs. Anyone not see the sense in it now? Told you I don't get good brainwaves often :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........

If I remember did you say you were 5'8 tall - if so I know how you feel about short arms in clothes, I'm 5'8/9. Have you tried the tall section of some stores as they tend to be longer in the arms as well as legs. I darent even try the jacket on as if I had, I'd have gone home with itMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Justamum - have you thought about Games Workshop stuff for your DS? War related but at least not attached to flickery screens.
Thanks for that idea. I've never heard of it, but just googled it now and will have a good look at it.
We got the PS2 as a "family" present last Christmas and I really regret it (I don't even know how to switch it on - it's that much of a family pressie! :rotfl:). He would quite happily spend all his spare time on it and has lost interest in all his other toys.0 -
kaz...not sure if we have any tall sections over here :rotfl:
BTW have I missed the card list?Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Gorgeous! I doubt the kitten would properly wake up if your DS moved - they're a bit like babies and could sleep through pretty much anything.
I love cats, but can't have one because DH and DS are both allergic to the fur. Whenever I see a cat outside anywhere I stroke it, and I can feel all the stress leave me.0 -
Gryfon, I am sure you could be added if you like. If you PM pigpen with your details I am sure she can add it in. Ah no cancel that, you're on it, have you not had the email? One day I might be more organised...........

Aww the boys are looking forward to it now, I told them I might be getting envelopes with cards in for other people so not to open all the post which are card just incase (they like opening cards and I am trying to stop them as they lost money out of one so prefer to supervise). DS1 wants to be post sorter, so of course now DS2 does (no they aren't asleep don't be silly!) DS1 grabbed a box, DS2s making a label for it he says, like a 'OylMailBan' which is a Royal Mail Van :rotfl: so I now also have assistants looking forward to cards sent here for sorting :rotfl:DS1 just likes sorting things. One day I might be more organised...........
