I just had a brainwave so thought I would share it, you can probably smell the burning!

If anyones concerned over costs of posting so many cards, if you would like to stick them all in one large envelope and send them to me I will distribute them to everyone. If you would like to include one or two stamps to help cover costs of postage this would be fine, I will get the envelopes.

I think this would be a more 'mse' way of doing things

Anyway, the offer is there, if you would like to please just put the persons name on the envelopes of the cards, chuck them all in one envelope and send them to me. Please however let me know if you wish to do this so I know how many envelopes I am waiting for to send them all out together, the earlier you can send them the better.
Copy of my email incase anyone else didn't get it, if you wish to contribute with a stamp that's fine if not then don't need to. Just PM me/email me if you want to do this so I know who's I need before I can send them out and make sure I don't miss any. Of course I will need them at the latest a few days before xmas so I can send them all out.

Bloomin emails must be playing up again.

DS2 decides he has homework now and he'd put it somewhere (because before he had to be in bed he didn't want to do it probably!!! Grrrr!!!!!)

DS2 needs a 'roman' style costume by next Thursday, I can't afford to buy one (just looked, eeeek!!! can't justify that!) any ideas appreciated!!!! I am no good with sewing machines, don't even own one.
One day I might be more organised...........

lil_me...get him in some trousers and a white t-shirt and get a white sheet from somewhere. Half the sheet lengthways and wrap around him starting from the right as you look at him, around his back and fasten at the right like he's wearing a skirt. Then take the extra material and throw it over the opposite shoulder. Then turn him around and fasten the flappy bit to the back of the "skirt". You may have to fasten the bit over his shoulder to his t-shirt as well so it doesn't slip off.

Right ok brain been on overdrive - I don't own white sheets so traditional toga out of the question if I don't buy one. So DP suggested instead of buying a white sheet I won't use buy XXXL white tshirt (so then DP or me can use it afterwards) a belt of some sort ? stuck with that, then cover his quadbiking body armour in foil to make it shiney! ..........erm any more ideas welcome and do you think that would be ok? I could do the sheet thing but I would need to buy one. It says armour, helmet etc but he said they are making helmets at school.

Or you could go to a charity shop and see if they have any white sheets? Or borrow from someone. I only have one white sheet which I think I aquired from my mother.

Lil-me - I was going to say a white sheet too - you don't need anything else apart from a curtain swag type bit of rope to hold it together in the middle (anyone remember toga parties from years ago ;) ).

Then, for shoes, just find some darker sheeting, wrap round feet and ankles and do up with more rope. Soooo simple...
