In addition to whatsisname's list, in your case I'd recommemd you install PrevX. It's an Intrusion Prevention System rather than an Intrusion Detection System. The former keeps the stable door locked rather than the latter closing it; often after the proverbial Trojan horse has bolted.

As a follow on fro installing SpyBlaster, Privx and Ad-Aware my laptop is running soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow!!!!

Any thoughts?

Itsbeef - Daft question I know, but define "laptop is running slooooooow...". Are we talking browsing time, boot up time, etc.?

That'll help us identify what the potential problem might be.

If it's browsing the Moneysavingexpert site, I understand that there have been server problems that have been hampering browsing...
