I am definately going to try the £10 a challenge as £300 extra to put on my debt can not be sniffed at. Although its day 2 and I am behind already lol.

Just about to make a coffee then I am going to sort my rather unruly pile of paperwork out I have collated over the last few weeks whilst my head has been spinning. Going to sort out what needs to be paid and also my new single person debt total

Mornin Doodles..just stopped by to say hello....
Had a barney with DH, who only got back from Singapore yesterday ,and goes to Hong Kong tomorrow, then immediately up to Liverpool to sort some stuff out, then straight to Sao Paolo from there....won't be back here till about 15th ish.....when are we supposed to have a family life with all that going on??? I was cheesed off with him for offering to take me away for my birthday in January, and then he didn't bother to bid for either time off or a decent trip so I could go too....said he was too tired to think about it. Not too tired to spend 2 hours managing his fantasy football team though.....gggrrr....
Anyway, sorry to hijack your thread (again) ,maybe I should start my own!!!

Well I have worked out my single persons debt and it totals £8892.29.

Ok it's still quite a lot but it seems manageable to me. So to be debt free by Xmas 2009 I need to pay off £741 a month :eek: .

How do you feel about that figure Doodledoo? Was it more or less than you thought? Do you think you can make the overpayments?

Its about what I had estimated as more or less half of our combined debt so its not a surprise and it includes a loan which is due to finish in March 2010 and both my overdrafts. I took on one of our loans and our 2 overdrafts and he took a larger loan.

£741 on just my wages and Exs contribution does seem scary though and I will have to come up with some money making ideas. Will stick with the £300 a month challenge for sure.

Whooohooo just got the figure for the one debt I had to estimate and its £140 less than I thought :T so debt stands at £8752.29 :T
