Well as no chain or mortgages to deal with it should be really quick maybe 4 weeks.

It would be handy as would fall at the beginning of the school holidays so would give me lots of time to get my little girl settled in our new place :D

Sorry I haven't updated in ages life has been a little hectic.

Well the previous viewers although saying they were interested they never made an offer.

However, this weekend I have had another viewer who has come twice and today has made me an offer which I have accepted.

A fantastic cash buyer so no chain at all :D:D:D:D

Brilliant. Well done. All that decorating and painting obviously worked out well! Things are on the up for you!

It's amazing how so many people want to move into a house that they can just walk into. Maybe you have a future career as a house stager!

Well done again. Am delighted for you!

  • It just goes to show it can be done, even in these bleak times - if a house is looking its best & its price is fair for both sides it'll sell - when we sold our last house I had 1 of the neighbours acost me in the local supermarket accusing me of undervaluing my house & didn't I realise I could get another £10k for it if I waited a few months - she viewed it as an affront to the value of her own house ( she wasn't selling!) - our story was that the house we were buying was a private sale, they accepted our offer even though we hadn't put ours up on the market so I pitched ours at the average of the 3 estimates we rec'd & it sold in a couple of days - I didn't have months to hold out for a top price - it was a fair price & I ultimately got my house of my dreams

Thank you all for your kind words I am so over the moon and still can't quite believe I have managed to get a cash buyer.

I have been out and looked for some properties for me and DD today and have found one on the same estate as my mum which would be perfect so I am going to see that tomorrow. Fingers crossed its ok inside :D
