Afternoon one and all and welcome back to some of you, now dont you go away again lol.

Had an interesting day with Ruby yesterday. When we got up she didn't come downstairs with me for breakfast. I immediately thought something was up. Anyway I went to work and when I came home she didn't come down to greet me and hadn't eaten any of her food.

So I went up to find her and she was on my bed looking very sad so I got on the phone to the vets and they let me take her in. She had a temperature of 107

They think the dose of steriods they had dropped her too was too big a drop too soon so they have put it back up and shockingly today she is back to normal.

The only worry is it does look like she may be on steroids for life and that alone can cause complications such as liver problems and diabetes

Not going to worry about it too much for now as what will be will be and just want her better.

  • Well done on your car boot loot! That's amazing!

I'm so glad to hear Ruby having a temperature was temporary! Hopefully it won't be long-term... just maybe for the next little while.

    Morning one and all.

Please to report that Ruby is back to her old self again, amazing what a few steroids can do to her lol. I swear she is going to be trouble lol. Trust me to pick the sickly one lol

Got a day today preparing for my interview tomorrow. Things never go to plan though I tried to log on to my works network today from my laptop and its not working, pah.

Just off to update my sig as that will cheer me up lol

Updating the sig is one of the highlights of the month (even if we're not all as hardcore DFW as you!)

£250 is a very healthy wad for a car boot sale - will you be doing it again, or do you have room to walk about in now? I suppose the plus side is the more you sell, the easier it will be to keep up to date with/sell eBay items?

    Every little helps!
  • all the very best for tomorrow - good luck!!

Hey you, good to see you popping by again :D I have been stalking you on the other side and your reviews are making me drink far too many carbonated drinks lol.

Yeah I will be doing another one although not so much stuff this time so won't expect to make as much. Any money I do make is gratefully received as is the space in my house.

Saying that I have started moving much of my stuff to my parents for storage ready for when the house goes on the market so I can fool buyers into thinking I normally live in a Zen like state :rotfl:

Sig is now updated and I am almost at £7k so will do a cheeky payment later I think to get there :T
