Andan - go to the botanic gardens as well (well I would say that wouldnt I???? I studied there) its fantastic, beautiful and free - worth a stroll around if you get some time (glass houses cost though so don't go in there).
Otherwise enjoy, edinburgh is so beautiful - will be there as well in a couple of weeks - you should be there when the continental xmas market is there, on princes street it will be beautiful, wonderful mulled wine etc - worth a stroll just to take in the ambience. Will def get you in the mood for xmas, and of course John Lewis should have thier tree up - which is also awesome xxxxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

Thanks Andan. Even though I only live about 40minutes from Edinburgh, I have never actually been!! Being a West coast boy all my life I have never really left Glasgow as I could not stand 'salt and sauce' with my chips!:rotfl:Debt Free thanks to MSE!!!! £15,000 debt became £0 thanks to some hard work and all you lovely people!0 -

Hope it wasn't as scary as you were expecting taking the stuff back:D
I always get nervous in situations like that. Probably why I have a law degree but never made it in the world of law- I lack confidence in the simplest of situations yet at other times can appear really confident (verging on arrogant some might say!!!!!!).
