I have
- been to park for an hour with DS, he fed the ducks stale bread, then the park keeper came and let him join in feeding them corn and maize, he got to mix it with water and pour it out onto the side of the lake. He loved it, got fresh air and it was free.
- dry all the washing inside, trying to keep radiators off until 6
- might take DS for a canalside walk when he wakes up from afternoon sleep
Thats all I can think for now, but will try get to update later. No snow here, wish we had some though, it would be ace.0 -
Morning all, well I am at work on my overtime today, Ive had a rant already today about works lack of concern on welfare on me!! But trying to have a good time. Docs tomo, I want to come off the happy pills as I feel fine apart from works lack of care!! Any advice from anyone that’s been on them? Ive been on 2months.
Its been snowing here in London too, a few flakes! Today should be my first no spend day in a while too!!! Very happy about that, I have had brekie, got stuff for lunch and dinner too here. Doing a meal plan later.
Tomo im off to huge primark in London to spend my last 40pounds til payday. I need make up goodies and frames for presents. Then im all set for xmas and 2009….my year of little spending!
Fayjmck! Morning I was up at 4.30am for work!!!! Early riser me!! How is the weather in the north? Any snowed sheep today?
Lilly81- go for it with CAB, make sure you claim for everything youre entitled too as well. Lots of benefits out there these days. Even cheaper travel, oh and if you have BT phone, go onto BT basic if your on benefit . only 4.50 a month line rental.
Andan, hows the assignment going today? Im planning on revising tomo afternoon, and essay work on Tuesday. I went to Edingburgh for a criminology conference in spetermber,. Loved it! It was so fab! I was on a budget and had to do things cheaply too. I used student discount everywhere. Drop into the visitor centre in the town next to haymarket station. Lots of vouchers for things in there. Get a daily ticket for the busses too…much cheaper! 2.50 a day unlimited travel on Lothian buses. I can recommend the bus tour too!! I really liked it, the zoo as well was the best day I had. There are lots of coupons on the back of the bus tickets too for 1.00 off enetry here, half price entry there….when are you going? I may be able to dig out some vouchers or stuff in my box!! You can tell I had a great time there!
