Anyone who is following my diary- Gran helping me out of debt- will Know I am in a dilemma over six hundred pounds (yes you read that right) worth of clothes I bought before my LBM. These are are still bagged, tagged and with their receipt but are over the 30 days return policy!
My plan a) Beg for a refund and if not....
b) get a plastic card for them and buy all my Christmas presents with them using the spare to buy any clothes I need for next year (I have more clothes than I could ever wear especially as my socialising has been curtailed)
I am hoping to report back some positive news after my visit to the shops. PS I have never made a refund before and lack confidence in these situations......Debt Free thanks to MSE!!!! £15,000 debt became £0 thanks to some hard work and all you lovely people!0 -

Hi Tallie, crikey that is an un earthly time. Assignment is ticking along and i have done lots for it today and my art work is in motion, which i am very pleased with!
Thanks for the advice re Edinburgh, we are going this Friday. We have a few things planned and Ktjazz gave me some links to some websites, but hadn't thought of the visitor centre. I will definitely do that and the bus tour sounds good, hadn't thought of that either, so you've given me some great ideas. Just want to make the most of the time.
Well, i have also sorted out my food cupboard to see what i have. I am also making a Sunday roast shortly and will make an extra one for tomorrow's lunch. Plus i have taken some food out of the freezer for tomorrow's tea.
Have also used £2.50 voucher from ebay to buy some oil that matches the one my clients love. Nice little saving.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Evening all!
I've just discovered something! If I have something cooking on the hob that I can just leave....I DON'T have to have the kitchen light on whilst I'm not in the room!!
Guess I must have thought my sprouts were afraid of the dark or something!
So thats some money saved on electric !;)

Evening Everyone!
I've just got in a from a very busy weekend.
I spent yesterday shopping! I really do kick myself when I fall into my old habits - its just so easy to spend on nice things! I was pretty reserved and didn't fall into all of my old habits but I did have a little slip! Last night was spent with OH's family - there was a lot drinking going on. I woke up with a sore head!
Tonight I will:- update the spending diary
- ironing for the week ahead
- pack up a book I sold on Amazon
- check accounts online and work out how much I can transfer to the credit cards
- clear out the fridge and decide on a meal plan for the rest of the week.
- make lunch for tomorrow.
- wrap Christmas and birthday pressies.
- Make a tray of flapjacks.
- Use a facepack - I have loads from my old spending days!

Andan, hope you have a lovely time up there. i really enjoyed it. dont buy a map! you will get loads free in the visitor centre and at the station or airport. Try go to OCEAN TERMINAL. its a huge shopping centre! I never got there myself but it was highly recommended!

It's about time I got back on track with MSE again so here's mine:
-Kept the heating off all day - made OH put on a jumper when he moaned about the cold
-Batch cooked for tonight and tomorrow + tuesday lunch ( leftovers)
-Stuck to list in Asda
-Prepared packed lunches for tomorrow
-Stuck to list in Asda
-Checked what my mobile is worth on envirofone - will send it off as some as my free upgrade arrives
-Other than Asda essentials had a NSD
-Sorted out my piles of loose charge in £'s - can exchange them for £1's at work and this will go straight to overpay my CC
That's all folks, not posted in a while so it's good to be back :j0
