World Cup 2006 Germany - Information

Have booked my trip to Germany 9th june till 11th june

3 of us getting the ferry from dover to dunkirk with norfolk-line cost £40 (but can be as cheap as £30 if you get off peak times)

Staying in the city of Mainz which is 20 miles from Frankfurt for 2 nights - our hotel is 1 min walk from mainz central station which takes us into the centre of frankfurt in 20 mins - we have a triple room costing 207 euros (roughly £52 each)

so total trip costs £65 each not including petrol which I estimate will be about £30-£40 each.

It takes about 5 hours to get from dunkirk to mainz but will probably take us 4 hours when we get on the autobarns

Mine's all booked, too. The flights for myself and my son cost £488 in total. The accommodation was cheap, as I used host-a-fan.de to find a nice family to stay with in Stuttgart for two nights. Total cost of accommodation for the two of us, including breakfast - €60. The family live 1km from the stadium, which makes it easy to get to. I've also been told that Bob Geldof is giving a free open air concert on the night before the match, so I'll try to get to that too. I'm really looking forward to the match, as is my son. He's also looking forward to meeting the host family's 8 year old lad!

When you get the screen with no next try button you need to refresh the page until you see the next try button again.

The click the next try button.

Keep going with this. I thought if I was in the waiting room for 30mins it was best to go back and reselect some other tickets. BUT the tickets I actually won was after 40mins in the 'Next Try' waiting room and after clicking one final time I went straight through to the payment screen.

Good Luck, It seems that more tickets are available after 7pm, but the gerenal number of available tickets seems to have reduced in the last few weeks.

Thanks Pachaboy - I've clicked on "Next Try" now more often than I'd care to mention and it never goes anywhere else. It's a bit like that button they are supposed to press every 180 minutes on Lost. What annoys me most is that the resale box is highlighted but after clicking through no tickets are showing. Glad you managed to get through though. Enjoy the tournament.

Says on the Nationwide FSF voucher they are valid until 28/04/06, so looks like I missed out.
