Maybe they shouldn't have promised it "within 2 weeks" of paying out then.0 -

Apart from that gloomy news, the guy was very helpful and confirmed they will accept a cheque from the current account + details of the Icesave ISA and we can send the certificate when it arrives.
Gulp, sharp intake of breath, small drink to steady my nerves and a nice seat. Not the 6% I opened it on. Still, they have been helpful and efficient so far. Just waiting for confirmation from FSCS and I'll be calling them to find out what happens next. I would have sent them a cheque with my application but having nearly lost money, I've no intention of having a cheque floating around the ether for a few months.
I know I haven't added to my ISA this year and I can provide statements to that effect but obviously Scot Wid want to see the letter from the FSCS before taking my money.0 -

Some of those lucky people must by now have been reunited with their funds for two weeks.
I would really interested to know:
Has anyone received an ISA Transfer Certificate from the FSCS yet?
Did the transfer go smoothly?
I got my second email on the 8th November and all my money paid into my account on the 13th November, however as we enter December I still haven't received an ISA transfer certificate from the FSCS! Starting to worry now, what can I do?0 -
Write to Gordon Brown and tell him to get his finger out0

as already said a few posts back on this thread, we probably won't get them until late December - this is the latest info being given by FSCS...0 -
