  • OK, OK. I thanked mewbie, but there's some truth in what you say.

I've dabbled with this site and, to be honest, there are plenty of planet zogg / 'me me me' self-serving posters.

    I'd rather be here.

btw, hunter: my motive for being here is to pick up on the links that contain qualified opinion re HP falls and for my 22yr old son, who wants to buy but needs advice on 'when'. so there's my cards on the table.

I find much of the informed advice useful.

those who post from a purely HP defensive position are entertaining, but ultimately time-wasting. faintly ridiculous, given the past yr.

remind me hunter: which side of the fence are you on?

I'm still wondering how many idiots were persuaded by LLL, btw.

Kirsty is a very attractive, sexy, curvy lady. Men lust after her.

The few little inadequates on here who like to insult her are probably as attractive as Notre Dame. You can somehow tell that by the way they write. They probably wouldn't dare squeak at her in real life - and she wouldn't even notice them - so insignificant they sound!:D

I doubt any of YOUR views would bother her. It's obvious you're plain jealous of her.

Anyway, her mult-millionaire husband fancies her!:p

    MIAOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

PP I don't know why I didn't spot it before - YOU ARE KIRSTIE!

I've never met annpan, but I'm sure she's lovely.

but when it comes to krusty: sorry annpan, you should've gone to specsavers!

(before anyone accuses me of mysogyny: she doesn't do anything for me, regardless of HPI nonsense).

    .

Interesting that you view the future as a replica of the recent past, perhaps that is how the people who have burnt fingers, buying at the peak came unstuck.

so I must be guilty of 'herd mentality'.

Which side of the fence? Can I sit on it? :)

Do I think prices will drop further? Yup. How much by? No idea. An educated guess would be another 20%-30%. Could be more though.

On a personal level I'd like prices to drop another 50%. At the same time I know how devastating that might be to a lot of people so I hope it doesn't happen.

I visited HPC because I thought it would provide some valuable information re. the property market. It doesn't (unless you're interested in tin foil hats or some weird doomsday fantasy).
  • Deep in drink, I have just latched onto this thread. Can I ask if "dervish" has actually replied, much, following his/her opener? As a reply to the opening thread, I do think Kirstie Allsopp is very attractive, but have no reason to believe she knows any more about house price predictions, than I do. (Sorry, I should state that I'm a retired truck driver.)

I wouldn't, it sounds uncomfortable, and you might get splinters.

I am sickened by the callousness and insensitivity shown by some people.

Calling people silly names is childish and counterproductive.
