All good points, and it's worth treating all indicators with a critical eye.

Nevertheless, if I was counting on house prices significantly outperforming the futures prices I'd be more than a bit concerned. (Although if I was a homeowner without a mortgage headache I probably wouldn't care either way...)

i see those nutters that say house prices will rise 50% just the same as the nutters that say it will drop 50%. they're the same kind of people with the same mentality and only see what they want to see.

mortgage free on your domestic property is the key. however using equity to leverage on other investments isn't a bad thing - you just have to invest well, not for the sake of investing..

i noticed you removed the BTL bit ;)

chucky, you know little about anything of consequence. So when it comes to house prices, stock markets, economics, etc. just pipe down please and don't embarrass yourself any further.

P.S. I hope you're getting a new spellchecker for Christmas

if i don't have anything of any consequence why do you read my posts and mention me in most of yours... stalking people isn't a nice trait to have is it...

and it's spell checker by the way!!! you really are an idiot!!

don't blame people for your misfortunes - what happened to you was all your own fault.

you really need to do something useful with your life - maybe even get a job.
  • Lads, maybe time for you both to give it a rest?
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

Funny isn't it, my FIL lives in mainland Europe where they have tax relief on your first domestic property and no further property, we have tax relief on your BTL investments, but not your main home.

Is it any wonder house prices have gone mad.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.

Chucky, we all know what you do for a living. So pipe down or someone might report you to the Immigration Service

Really!? - I think you should tell me what I do for a living with regards to immigrants. Proof would be nice otherwise you could be in a bit of a problem.

Before you do that I suggest you think very, very carefully what you say and how you word it. We wouldn't want you to get into any legal trouble.

don't forget Ladcrooks security dept. might be reading this thread. Any decent security dept of any bookie or casino would read this forum, rpoints, etc. on a daily basis.

having a dynamic IP address won't help you being located... your ISP will have a list of IP addresses they would use if anyone wanted to find out who you were.

It's basic stuff but you've got to be 100% you have a dynamic i.p. number before even contemplating doing this for your partner, friend or anyone else.

In the meantime trot up to the job-centre and get yourself a job and get off benefits because fraud isn't something you would want to be involved in is it...

anyway, it ain't all about looks.

being paid to prostitute one's uninformed views across tv screens is hardly an endearing quality.
