Post of the Month (January) Nomination:
I would like to nominate ianonline for his very useful and speedy response to a question which I spent quite a while trying to find the answer to. He answered well and with good detail.
The specific thread is here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=130194
Thanks ian for your quick responses and good luck!0 -
Anybody who hangs around the techie board soon realises that there are some great MSE members on there.
After reading this post:

my vote goes to Intel. The replies on the thread demonstrate the help he has given others and the contribution he makes to the site.0 -
I would like to nominate intel as he gives of his time and expertise
off the board as well as on.
I think he's a wonderful advert for MSE.

I would like to nominate Annie Fanny for the following post
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=131535
Although this post was only able to help one person (me in fact), I think it is an excellent illustration of the MSE community generosity of spirit in that people are not only posting to receive advice but generally care to help others going through the same things. Thank you annie fanny.Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94

I nominate MSE Jenny for her fab post on British Gas winter rebates on the Benefits board. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=127192
She has put a total of thousands of pounds in the pockets of people reading the thread & qualifying for a rebate themselves, or knowing someone who would qualify. The scheme was known to hardly anybody before Jenny got wind of it & made her post.
You're a star Jenny & I thanks to you I got the £60 I qualified for. :rudolf:The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
