I went into ours yesterday and was rummaging in my purse to find the voucher and she said it was ok she was automatically taking the discount off at the till.

I think it is quite sad actually that Woolworths has gone down the pan.

I have fond memories of going in there as a kid some 40 years ago.

You have to feel sorry too for the thousands that are going to lose their jobs there.

Out of curiosity... do you have anything to back this up?
Woolworths' suppliers had their credit insurance removed, so they just require payment quicker... this is as per Retail Week @ http://www.retail-week.com/NonChannelContent/2008/10/last_of_credit_insurers_withdraws_cover_from_woolies.html

they will still be open for trading today as far as I can work out and expect some of the chain to survive , the worst performing ones will shut down fairly quickly ,assuming the chain buyout goes though
