Boyfriend just bought one £169.99, with the discount 10% should make it £152 ish, but he got it for £140! think the till took the discount off of the games and controller you get with it, then took all their amount off too...

I read online that woolies cant get anymore credit with their suppliers so maybe thats the reason for the lack of toy stock??

I went to Big W at Sheffield Parkway and there was someone handing out the vouchers there too. 750 gm Toblerones reduced to £3.49, on 3 for 2 with 20% discount. Lots of toys and childrens clothes.

Had another quick rumble round the small local woolies today. Couldn't really find anything of interest. Yes there was stuff I could have bought, but I had my little girl with me. She's handy at these times. She never gives me much time to think about things cos she's always on the go. So I only end up buying the things that I know I need / want. Fully expected to spend another stack, but so far I'm being a good girl.

Perhaps their hosting company has pulled the plug.

Yep expect your Wollies to slowly run out of stock as they are having no more shipments, they really are in the brown stuff.

This is why I purposely went up there on Saturday and Sunday to use the vouchers and to get what I knew I needed to get. Didn't want to curse myself if I went up there early this week for the doors to be locked.

they're on credit block with ALL of their suppliers - once stock is gone, it's gone, they are having NO deliveries!

if anyone's bought xmas prezzies from there i'd advise checking them to ensure you don't need to take them back after xmas or there may not be anywhere to take them back to!
  • I went into my local store on sunday (without voucher) and asked if I could have one...they said no :( and they couldnt / wouldnt take 10 or 20% off of my purchase :(...

I think I had read earleir in the thread about d/ling and printing a voucher off of the discounts forum and presenting it...does this work???

    thanks jade
